Geo made me smile in another post and gave me this idea.
I don't know if we have already done this.

Boo (came home on Halloween) was a rescue.
2/3 Great Pyrenees and 1/3 Anatolian.
He is an awesome lap dog and reloading companion.

He just turned 5 :)

Post up folks.
I can't be the only one with a spoiled rotten reloading buddy and cover hog!

Isabelle, (“Busy Izzie”), the cat was rescued from my gun club range 2 1/2 years ago and loves exploring my incredibly cluttered reloading room, and then typically tries to lay down in my lap, which makes operating the press pretty much impossible.
Cinder, our grand dog, is content to find just enough floor space to lay down and keep me company.

I’m assuming that you’re in NY.
You know you don’t need to use that abomination of a stock if you convert it to a fixed magazine.

In some cases fast and easy mag changes are more important then Features, I've got plenty of fixed mag guns. I actually like the thordsen stock, it's not as bad as most would think. I didn't like them when they came out until using one, function over form type thing I guess. The new ones are really ugly tho.

Nugget the Worlds Greatest French Bulldog. 3 months old, a birthday present for me, filling an empty spot in our family and the reloading room because our last Frenchie left us way too soon at 2 years old.

Does Nugget duck hunt? Our Frenchie Lola does 😄 ! She likes hanging out in the reloading room too.

Sasha is no longer with us. But she helped me with everything! Her collar stills hangs by my bench… Unable to do a cat scan, (I’m allergic to cats unfortunately; think gravel in your eyes and can’t breathe) but the lab results were still ok. (Reference to other post) I have a picture of her trying to carry my first Lee press by the handle somewhere. Can’t find it.

My daughter is my current helper. And a “new doggie” is on the horizon

Sorry for your loss tho. At least you got the memories.

For those of you that never heard the joke, it's pretty funny.

A woman brought a very limp duck to a veterinary surgeon. As she laid her pet on the table, the vet pulled out his stethoscope and listened to the bird’s chest. After a moment or two, the vet shook his head sadly and said, “I’m sorry, your duck, Cuddles, has passed away.”
The distressed woman wailed, “Are you sure?”
“Yes, I am sure. Your duck is dead,” replied the vet.
“How can you be so sure?” she protested. “I mean you haven’t done any testing on him or anything. He might just be in a coma or something.”
The vet sighed, turned around and left the room. He returned a few minutes later with a old dog. As the duck’s owner looked on in amazement, the dog stood on his hind legs, put his front paws on the examination table and sniffed the duck from top to bottom. He then looked up at the vet with sad eyes and shook his head.

The vet patted the dog on the head and took it out of the room. A few minutes later he returned with a cat. The cat jumped on the table and also delicately sniffed the bird from head to foot. The cat sat back on its haunches, shook its head, meowed softly and strolled out of the room.
The vet looked at the woman and said, “I’m sorry, but as I said, this is most definitely, 100% certifiably, a dead duck.”

He turned to his computer terminal, hit a few keys and produced a bill, which he handed to the woman. The duck’s owner, still in shock, took the bill. “$150!” she cried, “$150 just to tell me my duck is dead?!?”
The vet shrugged. “I’m sorry. If you had just taken my word for it, the bill would have been $20, but with the Lab Report and the Cat Scan, it’s now $150".
