I'' throw in another vote for the SR9c by Ruger. Have fun probably 3000 rounds through mine over the past 5 years with zero malfunctions. The trigger is fairly light which helps with range accuracy. Its an easy to shoot gun and they are fairly reasonably priced at $389-419 most places, and sometimes less

Just personal preference but I like the feel of the Walther better. And I did get to hold the H&k when I filled out my background check and it was close to the Walther but was over 100 bucks more.
