Rigid R61 Vaquero boot knife?

There was a Vaquero and an Amigo, both daggers if I recall. It's a knife I've been trying to find for a while.

Anyone have one to show off? Is it a decent knife at all?
 
Yeah that's the "Vaquero" dagger. Reading up it looks like its 440 stainless--not the best of steels. Close up that doesn't look like a very comfortable grip.

Since it isn't a working knife that requires an ergonomic grip that won't prevent hot spots and blisters, being flat is more the purpose. At least it has the "coke bottle" shape to fit the hand better than a straight sided grip. For what it is intended, sticking some card sharp when the ace falls out of his sleeve, the grip should serve.:D
 
Nice looking dagger! Have a couple of Rigid knives, one fixed blade, the other a lockback folder. This one was a gift from a friend of mine:

I think this one was called the Apache. Carried this one for many years in my back pocket. A very rugged, dependable knife:
