I finally figured out how to post pictures! :D Just wanted to show off my .357 snubbie. I want to see everyone elses snubbie pics too. This is the first picture I've ever taken and posted so if anyone has some picture taking suggetions I'd love to hear them.

Can anyone else see the pic? I had one person view it and it worked for them. Like I said this is the first time I've posted a pic don't know if I did it right. I followed the instructions in the Technical Support forum step by step.

Kevin ... yep - shows just fine ... very nice gun. and first pic too.! Welcome to THR , first time I've seen a post of yours myself :)

I added CT grips to mine .. love it as a carry piece.

It replaced my aging and very ''carry tired!'' ol' M85 .......

Pic taking suggestions? ... well, firstly this a pretty good effort ... but might suggest you try a more diffuse lighting source ... and it helps too if you have some manual control on camera, so as to determine your ideal exposure yourself. Looks like a flash lighting .. try a two light source if you can .. as long as you can tweak white balance for something like tungsten.

Might be of interest to you to go take a peek at My 'Image Matters' mini site , where there might be some useful info for you to consider.

Thank you P95Carry I will certianly use your suggestions. As for your "Image Matters" site it is the only reason I was able to get my picture on the internet. I had to read it about half a dozen times and kept switching back and forth between windows, but I finally figured it out. Thanks for the information, without your site I would still be ignorant of such things.

Rappa, I absolutely love my SP. It points and shoots very naturally for me. All I shoot through it are full power .357 loads. Due to the weight and thickness I find the recoil to be very manageable. The only thing I wish I could change about it is the ejector rod. It wiggles quite freely and when the cylinder is closed it rattles around. It's not a problem mechanically and the rod appears to be strong. I just wish I could stop that rattle. Thats not enough to change my overall view of the gun which is great. The gun is very easy to completely strip for cleaning IMO. I am very happy with my SP and would definitly buy another. All the other SP owners I have spoken with are happy with thiers as well.

Nice SP101 , I have one also but I carry 6 rounds in my Bianchi Speed Strips I know it's a 5 shot revolver but if you're carrying spare ammo it's just as easy to carry 12 rounds as 10 .

Very nice! Well framed, nice lighting, shiney and polished gun, contrasting background. Next time, move the gun to the left more so you loose that white wall part on the right side and, polish those damn rounds man!:neener:

I can't carry mine, love that little sucker tough!

Gotta take a new picture someday too.

The SP101 should rate very high in the weapon department. The factory grips happen to work very well for me. Shooting the top end jhp loads is painless and distracting only because of the concussion. The revolver is easier to shoot accurately than most snubs.

I would not ever say they are as pretty as a 2.5 Smith K frame but they hold up extra well with full power loads.

and the knife is good for cleaning your fingernails.

Thank you. I did the bead blast finish then polished the cylinder flutes. After that pic was taken I re-did it with a polished stripe at the muzzle end. Did the same treatment to my GP100.

just a side note, put all six rounds in your speed strip. worst case scenario is you'll have 1 extra round left over......

also, if you ever have to reload under stress, that extra round can be real nice, instead of fishing on the ground for your fifth and last one.
