For the legal permanent resident of the US, the wait is over! We may not need the Alien Firearm Licednse after all. The president has signed the Bill 1052. Now WA State will allow green card holders to possess a firearm without an AFL as in any of the other 49 states.

Look at the bottom of the link, under "In the Senate". "April 19 President signed".

It's the state legislature though, wouldn't the "president" be the governer?
