Here is my Walker:

Lside.jpg

It is a third generation Colt Signature Series in unfired condition.

Basically, the loading lever spring in stock form has a somewhat large radius that must be cammed out of the way by the lever... the force required to overcome the spring pressure really isn't much at all which is why the lever drops so readily when the pistol is fired. What I did was to file the radius on the spring end into more of a hook shape (as can be seen where the shiny part shows near the bottom of the spring). The trick is you need to break the sharp edge of the hook you create otherwise you won't be able to pull the lever down.

Clear as mud huh? :scrutiny:

Hi Scrat...

Y'know Scrat - this club of yours has already grown large enough they probably could have rescued the Alamo. If this tribe of shaggy Walker Detonators goes off on a lark and annexes Cozumel or something the State Dept. may send the BATF around asking some really awkward questions  !!!

;)

Scrat, good morning. Where you at today?
You are neglecting your responsibilities, sir!
The herd is milling about restlessly. They need their leader!....

I'd like to post a picture of my Walker but it was stolen, along with 5 other firearms, by my brother ex law.:cuss:

It was a Uberti and imported by Replica Arms of Marietta, Ohio.

I just recently replaced it with a Dragoon, coincidently also a Replica arms Uberti.

If I get another Walker, I'll know where to come to join.

Enjoy them revolvers, fellows, they are a blast.

StrawHat..The way I see it is you still own a Walker. You can't help it that because of reasons beyond your control it just happens to not be in your possession at the moment.
WELCOME SIR!!....

Moved and seconded that Straw Hat be admitted to the membership since his lack of possession is not his fault. All in favor say Aye, opposed say nay.

The chair reports all ayes, no nays, the motion passes. Welcome, Staw Hat.

I have several Walkers and now 2 questions. 1. How do I join the Walker Club? 2. How do I post pictures here?

Out of town for the day. Wow this is growing pretty good. i guess i have to redo the member list.
