What is the last gun that you bought?

Along with my recent addition of a Beretta Minx to my mouse gun collection I got a Browning Black Label 1911 380. Already had the 22 Black Label & this one’s great too. At 85% of a full sized 1911 it matches the 380 perfectly, plenty to hold onto & control the mild recoil. It cam completely blacked out so I put some faux ivory grips & like the looks. IF I was ever going to carry a 380 this is the one-thin & light, accurate, decent 8+1 capacity. It’s going to be hard to keep this one from ending up in Mrs Canasta’s safe. First time I’ve had to deal with the new 3day wait law that Colorado‘s liberal run house passed to kill the gun shows, no big deal for me but it’s an infringement.

Went to a gun show a few weeks back. One of the worst shows in a LONG time. I was leaving and was pissed. On the way out, spotted this. Somehow had missed it. It's a bit scuffed up, but the price was KILLER. So grabbed it up and it's now with RUGER getting refurbed and reblued. Have a soft spot for the oddball stuff.

Is this a locked breech or stright blow back ? I had a Llama Spanish made midget 1911 .380 that was locked like the Colt Mustangs are also..

It’s a locked breach but doesn’t use a 1911style swinging barrel link, more of a tilting barrel design like a Hi-Power.

Had an STI 2011 in 9mm a couple years ago and decided to sell it cause I 'needed' a 2011 in .40 to be competitive in IPSC Standard division.
Always regretted selling that thing... so when a couple of months ago, a beautiful like-new STI Edge came up for sale, I just had to have it!
What an awesome pistol. Like new and still tight as hell!
Considering I'm in the Netherlands, this is quite a nice find if I say so myself. :)

And H&R in 270, intended to post it here to assess the value of the package because other than one of them in .410, I don’t have any others and haven’t really followed their value. The rifle is at least 2nd hand because years ago I machined off the working part of a muzzle brake for the current owner that said it was just too loud and he was selling it with 4 boxes of ammunition (minus 6 rounds from one of them).

S&W .38 Safety chambered in .38 S&W. Serial number puts it somewhere from 1907 - 1940. Based on the serial number and if production was level for the 33 years, mine would be about 1911 (see chart for ".38 Safety"). Firing pin test: a 12" by 5/16 dowel jumped out of the gun. This one should be good for smokeless powder vs. some of the earlier ones (they go back to 1887). I wonder should I try to get LRN or will FMJ be okay in this gun? Not like I am going to shoot it much, but I figure maybe a box of 50 just to get a feel for how it shoots.

EDIT: Found online the instructions. Note this 5th Model can take smokeless but they still recommend LRN:
