What is the last gun that you bought?

I've been gifted a S&W 4" 66, and a Cetme, but the last gun I bought was this little HK in June of last year.

That one looks great! Dang, I loved the two (one 9mm, one .40 S&W) I had -- still kicking myself for trading 'em off (and the minty PD as well). That "Starvel" (nickel) finish looked great, the pistols are ergonomic and accurate (albeit a bit on the heavy side).
I always wanted either the 9mm or .45 version when they first came out (I remember them on the covers of all the gun mags at the time) but was a 20 y.o. newlywed making @ $5/hour, so it never happened (I did have a Star PD back then, though as my CCW). I've encountered a few over the years in LGS or at gun shows, but they're usually pretty well used and I passed. Saw this minty one with a decent price tag and the nostalgia bug bit...but no way it'll replace my 365XL as a carry piece.

I finally broke down and bought a gun I’ve been going back and forth on…a Ruger PC Carbine.

Ordered it from Cabelas and picked it up yesterday. Thank you Cabelas Points! LOL!

Made three modifications today:

1. Changed magwell to use Glock magazines.

2. Added a SwampFox Red Dot

3. Added a Streamlight TLR-10G

I fully intend to make this a primary home defense gun. Been wanting a 9MM long gun for a while now.

Will be testing it this weekend with both Magpul and Glock magazines. I still need a sling…but first the range.

At my age, I keep saying this will be the last gun I buy but I’ve bought 3 or 4 this year.

My most recent purchase is a SiG P322 and a SiG RomeoZero Elite optic. I finally got to the range and tried a few different brands of 22LR ammo in it earlier this week. It ate everything and the only problem it had was with a Federal Champion dud and it didn’t always cycle subsonic. IMG_0638.jpeg IMG_0613.jpeg

Never too old to buy another .22!

A lightly used 2021 Tisas Fatih .380. It's a Beretta 84 BB design. The biggest differences I've noticed so far have been the finish (likely a cerakote rather than the Beretta deep blueing), the straighter front of the grip on the Fatih and the lack of radiusing on its edges.

Here is the Tisas Fatih .380 on the left and my Beretta 81 (7.65mm) on the right for comparison. The Fatih is a 13 + 1 format while the 81 is 12 + 1. The Fatih has the firing pin block of the Beretta BB series while my 81 is the Base series before they added the firing pin block. I have to admit, that firing pin block does make lowering the hammer from SA mode a whole lot less stressful.

Both are now wearing some old Herrett's Brazilian Cherry stocks, checkered on the 81 and a smooth finish on the Fatih.

For next year Tisas says the Fatih will come with Turkish Walnut grip panels and the grip profile will be like the Beretta grip shape instead of just straight.

Ruger Blackhawk 357 6 1/2” that was similar to dad’s first (in 1958) and out of the estate of my mentor and club founder (1964). Three witnesses saw him kill a deer in MO with it. I hope to do the same this year on my little acreage even though it will be backup to my Henry 357 single shot.
