Just a fun poll to see what everyone's age is on THR.

Mod. If this is off base or needs to be moved I understand and apoligize in advance, just something fun.

Just 740 more days till I can apply for a CCW... assuming my math is correct... still waiting...

18 for just a few more days.

I started to make some smart-aleky comment about how this has been done so many times before and say something clever like "The Search function is your friend" and then I realized that we have a ton of new members here and just tacking onto an already existing thread with a similar pole may not realy be as helpful as a new census of the members.

48 year old curmudgeon here.

Egads!

And apparently soon to be a geezer. One category for 60+? Obviously the pollster is a baby (that's anyone young enough to be one of my children, well over half of you). The only consolation I get from this is that THR demonstrates a maturity of attitude that belies the fact that most of you couldn't run for president if you wanted to.

Old age and treachery...
The coming generation...
He who is not liberal in his youth has no...brains.

no the poll only allowed 10 choices so i could only go so high before i had to put above a certain age......

Don't feel bad Bob---I still remember when the "Welcome to Bothell, for a day or a lifetime" sign was out in the sticks.

That's why we felt safe painting out the "B", "o" and "t".

I though it was more appropriate that way.....and we didn't even get shot doing it.

In once sense I was surprised that the age has skewed to the younger side (and annoyed that I'm not part of it...40 years old..) but then I realized that I'm happy that there are so many young people interested in shooting. Now I'm happier...

Just turned eighteen a week ago. I plan on buying a .22 rifle within the next year, as well as probably going to a range nearby to trying shooting some .22 handguns. Can't get CCW because it was turned down in Wisconsin, and even if the bill was passed you had to be 21 to get a license. :barf:

Keep an eye out for a thread about .22 rifles started by me in the Rifle forum in several months. :)

Add another old geezer/curmudgeon; will be 67 shortly. Where have all the years gone? Seems like yesterday I was a smart young hotshot just out of college and ready to solve any problem. Ah well, "education" comes sooner or later to those who can recognize it. Enjoy today for who knows what tomorrow brings.

Good shooting and be safe.

Me am only twee years old.

Actually 20. If I manage to avoid flunking anything this term, I'll have my bachelor's degree before I hit 21.

You might want to see if there are any loopholes around the 21 year age limit. Like maybe a non-resident New Hampshire CCW permit.

Bothell..for a day or a lifetime.

Somebody stole the sign! (It sat a couple blocks from my house). It was getting the BOT treatment regularly up until its disappearence. Probably with some delinquent down in Arizona. Speaking of which, I'll be in Phoenix next week and visiting the BASF on Wednesday the 1st, likely in the afternoon (unless someone tells me better).

I'm old enough that my mother ordered my first gun from Sears and Roebuck, and it came to the house in the mail. :what: I'm old enough that we used to shoot doves in the field next to school, after school was out for day. Everyone carried a shotgun in the trunk of thier car, or hanging in the gun rack of a pickup. I'm old enough that the sight of a kid walking down the road, with a shotgun or a 22 rifle, would cause people to beep the horn and wave, not call the cops. :D I remember paper shotgun shells.

My first NIB GI 1911A1 cost me $17, so that might give you some idea of my age.:D

Thanks Guys - I was feeling ancient at 46

35 here.

Seems that the mode for age seems to be a lot lower than it was last time we did this (I suspect the median too, but I don't feel like doing the simple math right now).
