What's the deal with the Winchester White Box Bashing?

I've got no complaints.

My 9x19mm carry round is the WWB 147gr. JHP.

It's accurate, reliable and very reasonably priced.

It also tests well for penetration AND expansion.

You need a spacer in the mag to prevent rimlock.

Yes sir, luckily I've only tried the truncated nose WWB at the range a few times and didn't suffer from rim lock. Still, that flat nose gave problems when chambering the round.

The good thing is round nose FMJ feeds into the chamber just fine, and FMJ is what I like in .32 ACP.

I have WWB and use it along with most other types of cheap FMJ although is is extremely dirty as is most all cheap ammo. Although WinClean is pricey, I do enjoy shooting it on occasion. Pistol cleanup is almost not required.

My only complaint is that the winchester spent pistol brass is probably the lousiest brass I've ever reloaded.

I've never had trouble feeding, if it gets out of the mag (I have had rimlock both on purpose and unexpected). That's in a recent production KT P32 and a NAA .32 autoloader MrsBFD liked for some reason (the KT is the superior gun in pretty much every respect)

I'm too lazy to buy or build a flyer wire spacer, so I just don't buy the WWB in .32 ... but there's nothing wrong with it if your gun is set up for them. I bought in bulk after a few boxes ran OK in the KT, then right after I stocked up I started to get the occasional rimlock. I almost never carry the KT, and when I do I feed it hot euro loaded round-nose FMJ, so it was never really a problem beyond a range annoyance.

I bought my first weapon (handgun) about a year and a half ago - XD .45.

I initially only bought WWB and would go to the range with it and clean it afterwards (good habit to fall into).

I then decided to try Federal Ammo from the same Wal-mart, and noticed that it left my firearm significantly less dirty. I still clean it after every use, but there was a noticeably less amount of buildup on it.

I have twice experienced reversed primers with WWB. Happened during a class after I had dumped five boxes into an ammo can so I don't know if it was out of the same box. Would have sucked if the primer detonated.
