What's Your Excuse?

When it comes to buying a new gun, what's a great excuse to give to the wife? I know we all have (most of us here) many guns and we really don't NEED another one but we also know that we WANT more. You can never have too many guns but the old lady doesn't really see it that way...

looking forward to seeing some of the replies to this thread.

my wife is pretty loose about it but i have noticed i have to do more footwork if the gun i want "looks just like" the ones i already have.

so far ive gotten away with "this is for deer, this is for dove, this is for ccw, this is for plinking"

i;m gonna have to find more animals to hunt to get more guns i guess!

"because i want it." i don't make her give me an excuse as to why she needs a new pair of shoes or a new purse, why would she require i have an excuse as to why i'm buying a new gun?

I've used the "this one's for the woods and this one's for target practice" excuse before but she's not dumb and knows that the same gun can be used for both activities.
I usually buy the gun and then let her find out about it later at which point, I can say "well I've had it for 3 weeks now; I thought you knew". (It's better to beg for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission)
I've become proficient at sneaking guns into the house. As long as they're out of sight, she doesn't seem to mind
