I'm a Glock guy, own a 19, 19X and 30sf, the 30sf is a nice shooter for a compact. I use it as my woods gun for Flyfishing in Black Bear country. I've also owned a couple of Kimber 45's back when I was convinced that .45 bigger was better was the only choice for SD. I owned 2 21's including a Gen 4 and a 21sf gen3, they were just two big for my hands. OTOH I had an SW M & P service sized .45 that fit my hands great and shot great. I think they are very good guns, but they also seemed a notch less quality than my Glocks in the small parts. But I wouldn't hesitate to own one if I was using .45 as my main carry.
The HK45 impresses me a lot too, BUT the one thing I love about Glock is the aftermarket support. The idea of buying $50 + mags turns me off.
