Well I'm 22, Married, 2 kiddos (we'll start on 3 when I get back from Iraq), 1 dog. I'm a Corporal in the Marine Corps. I'm a gun nut, but unfortunately, I don't get to go shooting or buying new toys very often due to budget restrictions.

46 year old DWM, no kids.

Today's my b-day, 3 years ago today I was struck by a city bus while bicycling. The collision broke my back and my pelvis along with a number of other injuries, and I was out of commission for 6 months. The 22 year old bus driver got a ticket, and I eventually got a legal settlement. I quit my job as a gubamint web developer late last year and have been enjoying the ability to walk along with a little disposable income ever since.

'Bout time I went back to work though...

probably nobody is going to read this...37 pages :what:

but here it goes..

I'm 36 married for 6, 2 daughters .... 5 and 3
no dogs, no cats

I'm in the army, it's been 15 years now. 2 tours in Iraq.

I have 7 guns, want more and more but can't afford it for now.

coaching my daughters softball team and having fun, that's my life

Wow! Amazing how long this thread has lasted!

Here's my update: Age 31 now, married to a wonderful woman with 2 boys (ages 6 and 2), another baby on the way (I'm praying for a girl this time), working full-time as a Professional Driver and part-time as a Bail Enforcement Officer.

I can't believe how long this is. Very interesting. 54 years old. Ex Produce Broker. Ex Commercial Pilot. I Own and operate a Real Estate agency in Northern Maine. One very lovely wife, 5 grown children, six beautiful grandchildren. Shooter, reloader, fisherman. I thank the good Lord above for each new day of health and happiness.

29, happily engaged and living in sin. I'm a bureaucrat at a state law enforcement agency and I can comfortably buy a new firearm about every 6 months.

Geezer

I did not take the time to read through all 37 or so pages, so there are probably others out there that are also geezers. I will be 58 next month, work for the Army as I have for the past 38+ years (active duty and civil service combined). I am a WASP with a loving wife of 35+ years with 5 children (and one son-in-law), four of the kids are grown and in various stages of leaving home and the youngest is a high school junior (home schooled). Since the family are all graduates of Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University we are debt free, so don't have to worry about gun purchases as long as they are in reason. We save for them and then simply plunk down the cash. No idea right now how many I have, but it is enough to do all the shooting (target, plinking, hunting) I want to do.

23 years old. I'm a SSgt (E-5) in the Airforce (Sewed on at the beginning of the month :D). I fix stuff for a living (backshop maintenance). Happily married for almost 3 years now. No pets, no kids. Got a few of my guns before I came in, a few more when I got back to the States and my wife wasn't here due to visa issues, and the last one I got (Kimber 1911) with my tax money.
Wife lets me use the tax refund how I want to, so I have some latitude to buy more guns.

just turned 20 last Sunday

live-at-home with parents who dont like guns much; have an immature brother whom I do not disclose my gun ownership to. Have yet to tell my dad of my latest and currently only gun in the house. No girlfriend right now

owner of one gun for now. I plan on buying a couple more within the next 15 months (handguns in a year, and rifles at the end of summer)

work at Bed, Bath and Beyond; also do summer parking jobs and under-the-table work for private contractors

currently full-time student working for liberal arts degree (the irony, I know...)

always had an interest in military/tactical/combat weapons, including blades. Big fan of surplus and used guns due to income/budget limitations.

I'm a 29 yo white male from Queens N.Y.. I'm a psychotherapist and work on an inpatient psychiatric unit in Bushwick Brooklyn. I have been purchasing shotguns since I was 18 and have four currently but recently aquired 2 22lr rilfes to learn to shoot. I'm moving to Pennsylvania and will actually have some freedom and know must learn rilfes and handguns. I plan on many purchases as soon as I move and can't wait. I have a serious girlfriend who loves guns and we have a dog (american pitbull terrier) and a cat (who cares what kind, it's a cat).

Come on in, the freedom's fine!

Alright I'll tack mine on as well.

White male (Scot and French Canadian with some Dutch mixed in). 32 years old. No wife, No kids, a dog and a cat that thinks it is a dog. I have 12 years of a college education, work as an educator during the school year and work as the program director for a Boy Scout Camp in the summers. I inheirited many of the guns I own (very few other shooters in the family), most of the rest are military surplus or blackpowder (everything from cap and ball revolvers to mideval hand gonnes) which I build at least one per year. The others were usually picked up in nonworking condition and rebuilt/repaired/etc.

Wow. Talk about thread revival. Same info for me as buried herein somewhere:(, just two years older now.

See signature for the details... but I also have the best g/f in the world. I am sitting watching the daily show and she is searching online for the next gunshow in washington, love that girl. "I want a nugget gun" <3 that girl

Twenty-four in a month, single, living with my folks 'till I get a house built, working on the family farm.

No commute, no expenses, and an encyclopedic knowledge-base combined with penchant for finding deals.

I have lots of guns.

I am willing to trade my mint-matching Nazi G-24(t), M-1941 Johnson, and a SVT for a woman, if anybody's got a cute extra daughter in my agerange.

27 this June, married 7 years this July, 2 daughters-5 and 1. Unemployed as of yesterday(lay-off...again) Will probably be working for the prison system soon.

I have a decent collection. But most of my guns I buy used. And from pre marriage years I still have a lot of gun connections at different shops and pawnshops that keep me where I can purchase for nickels on the dollar.

ie, a mint condition Marlin 336 for 175 bucks with Nikon 4x32 scope, or maybe Charter Arms(old Charter) for 100 bucks.

I just look for deals and pay cash to keep the cost down.

32 Years old currently unmarried, but with a serious girlfriend, so that status may change. I make a solid income as a firefighter for a large suburban fire dept. Being single I buy what I want, when I want and my 1911 adds to a long list of other toys/hobbies. Next guns on the list are a bolt action tactical rifle in .308 and a AR, of course more 1911's. My girl goes shooting with me and enjoys my love of the sport.

A fresh update, I'm 52 as of last Saturday, and am 6 days away from retirement. No more line maintenance, no more weld tips, no more non-working sonic cleaners, no more liner changes, no more idiot production people thinking they know more about my job than me, no more money. Hooray, or something......
