I'm male, 54 now, a court clerk by profession. Have 2 adult daughters from my first marriage, divorced.
Have been buying/collecting guns & shooting since .. oh must've been 1980 or thereabouts. You don't have to spend enormous amounts of money to gather a collection over a period of what.. 28 years, do you ?
I reckon I spend about 5 % of my paycheck on guns & gun-related items.
I presently own 17 handguns & 3 rifles, with 2 more handguns to come
shortly. & I handload
I only shoot for fun, don't hunt ( by inclination) & living where & how I do nowadays, don't really really actually NEED guns for self-defense (thank God).
My present partner isn't intrested in guns much, but -for instance- the other night she said "You haven't forgotten there's bowling-pin shooting contest two weeks from now, have you ? You got enough ammo ? shouldn't you be reloading or something ?"
Just GOTto love that girl.
