I think there is an 8-shot .38 Special by Ruger. That would be a good carry if one is not pocket carrying. Or a S&W 686+ at 7-shots.
Kinda like a Smith & Wesson without the uglyhole. My Charter Arms Off Duty. I've had a lot of guns and this is tied for favorite with my Jericho.

For revolvers this is one of my favorites:

Model 13-4 3" .357 Magnum (VZ G-10 stocks)
And this one:

Model 625-3 3" .45 ACP (Pachmayr stocks)
For holsters I like the Milt Spark PMK
Kirkpatrick Leather holsterGood taste. Which holster and speed loader pouch, are those Safariland speedloaders?
She's beautifulUsed to be a 1911 Springfield Loaded 45 for decades now it is a 686 with 3" barrel. She winked at me and I fell in love hard.

What? No pictures? My Dan Wesson 14-2 with a 3" EWK extra-heavy barrel and factory combat grip . I carried this revolver for years on armed posts with its factory 4" barrel and a Pachmayr grip so I'm just used to it. Switching to the shorter barrel and smaller grip let me drop it into a front pocket for true concealed carry. Preferred ammo is Barnes 140gr Vor-Tx. The heavy barrel shroud really tames the recoil.
My wife has a SCCY CPX-2 with Federal 147gr HST's (non-+P's). With over 500 rounds, it's been rock solid dependable.
