Maybe the country will learn how easy it is to fall victim to one of the 25,000+ gun laws in this country. Make a point by sawing off the barrel of a rifle, accidentally create a untaxed NFA short barreled rifle, face a 10 year sentence and a $250,000 fine. No excuse, you are required to know...
Why do we have to “give” anything? In this country guns are a right, not a bargaining chip! This is one of the major things that set the US apart from the rest of the world.
How can you tell if someone sold a gun, unless you know they have that gun. Universal background checks = registration. They gotta know who's got 'em before they can track 'em.
According to the guy and his grandson standing in the next lane, it was my M1 Garand. I touched off a round and he had a fit over how loud it was! I politely explained that it is a gun range and loud noises are expected. I also pointed out that hearing protection is advisable.

I just send a copy of the application to the CLEO with a cover letter stating that the BATF requires I send this form to the CLEO, and that it requires no action on their part.
Why put the number 5 down as a qualifier? Do the first 5 not count?
It's not about safety, it's about teaching children that "guns are Evil". So Evil, that if ANYTHING associated with guns comes near, you must be protected by locking you in somewhere so that the Evil Thing cannot harm you...
Not to hijack the thread, but I was wondering about the legalities of shipping NFA weapons. From what I have read, just handing a NFA weapon to someone at the range COULD be considered an illegal transfer. Is there special consideration in the law to cover handing off the item to a person or...
I am a displaced Californian, living in the Ozark's for 20 years now. It's a great place! Just remember, when driving, if you see a car with its signal light on, figure it was left on at the factory!:neener:
