Looking on Amazon for reviews from purchasers of magazine speedloaders I saw that MakerShot Magazine Speedloaders got the best reviews.
Does that match your experience? There’s the universal Maglula Uplula speedloader. Twice as expensive but is it twice as good?
Just bought a Ruger 45 ACP LC Carbine. It uses Glock mags. The only thing on Ruger’s website is:
I assume that means BOTH gen 4 and gen 5 mags will work. Is there any reason to prefer gen 5 over gen 4 or vice versa?
Looking for a rifle case my 30” Ruger 45 ACP PCC. I found this Bulldog case but don’t have any experience with Bulldog cases.
Any comments or suggestions ? Undoubtedly there are better ?
BTW, that case goes for $93 $83.
I’m was looking for the relative (to other powders) burn rate for True Blue and so far I’ve found 58 from LoadData.com, 44 from Grafs.com, and 22 from hodgdonpowderco.com relative numbers where smaller means faster burning.
Some of this might be explained by there are different powders in the...
I have some 230 gr Berry's RN 45 ACP bullets I’d like to use with Hodgdon’s Universal powder. Went to Hodgdon’s reload data website and found:
Plan on using this in my S&W model 25-14 (modern) 45 ACP wheelgun. Would these charges be ok? Comes down to 230 gr HDY FMJ FP vs 230 gr Berry’s RN with...
Do any of you guys have experience with this carbine? I’m really attracted to the .45 ACP chambering! I realize Ruger just introduced these but was hoping some of you seized the opportunity early.
BTW, I really appreciate that it was designed to work with 13-round Glock .45 ACP magazines.
Got an email earlier this week notifying me that 32-20 brass was available for orders. Went there immediately and I got
Has anyone been able to order any?
I ordered Pachmayr grips for my N-frame square bottom wheelgun. These grips are clamshell grips that open on one side. There’s a single center screw that’s too long. When I had tightened the screw enough to close the clamshell, the screw was protruding out the other side by 1/4”. These are going...
This is purely for entertainment but there may be some unintended value here … but it is definitely entertaining!
Is anyone surprised with the results?
What’s the word on these guys, X-Treme Bullets?
They’ve been around since 1973(?) but I haven’t heard of them.
I was looking for GC .30 Carbine bullets from Montana Bullets Works but those are no longer available and their prices seem to have skyrocketed.
When I’m at the range happily blasting away with my 1911, my brass is flying in every conceivable direction. I’d like to catch that brass to reload. What are my options?
After chasing 45 ACP brass from a 1911 all over the floor and only recovering a fraction of them, I’m looking for brass where that’s not a big problem … money wise. I searched the web for used brass and found Diamond K Brass. Undoubtedly there are many others.
What’s more the word on these guys...
I have a S&W model 25-14 with a 3” barrel. Just bought a TK Custom unloader for moonclips. I’ve notice there are some all-in-1 loader/unloader tools out there such as the BMT Mooner. Which would be the better move: buy one of the all-in-1 tools or get the TK loader to match my TK unloader?
Right now this is a thought experiment. If I wanted to push a .30 Carbine round fired from a Blackhawk out to 100 yards for maximum accuracy, would I be better off using a Spitzer bullet:
Possibly:
Sierra MatchKing Bullets .308 Diameter (30 Caliber/7.62mm) 125 Grain Boat Tail Hollow Point
Or...
