Just got one myself recently, for a full batch I use a "squirt" of dawn and a 9mm case full of lemishine. Do NOT overdo it on the lemishine it will litterally turn your brass pink. Start out with hot water and rinse in cold asap. Be sure to get all the soap off then dry. I actually went ahead...
Hey guys, never used Remington primers always CCI, FEDERAL, WIN. My LGS has Remington 1 1/2 small pistol primers for $50/1000. I have heard NOT to use them in high pressure loads however, any suggestions?
Man that is showing some serious "Glock bulge" for sure. That's not the problem but it sure does not help. That definitely looks hotter than factory Win NATO rounds which are pretty hot. Your load should not be that hot though, did you run them over a chronograph? OAL could be wrong causing...
Being my 300 aac with a 10.5" barrel WAS my truck gun, I went ahead and stuck a 16" barrel on it. Am I going to changecit back? Soon as I do some damn judge will put a "stay" on THAT ruling somehow. Getting fed up with this crap.
I still remember $60 for a box of 50 Blazer rounds during covid. Why not reload 9mm and save if you can, and taylor rounds that are more accurate than even premium ammo off the shelf. I like to load cast or my own coated bullets because I shoot a lot of steel, and those bullets don't throw...
Should not make that much of a difference, at least in the groups you posted. Having said that I have never used Servicio primers. I can tell you when I've checked groups/load data comparing cci, federal, or winchester the difference was very little if any. The only true way is to check pressure...
Nothing wrong with military brass, especially LC, you will have to cut the crimp out of the primer pockets however. LC is what I load my hotter PD rounds with. Keep in mind, if you are going to be using your loads in more than one rifle you need to find a "happy medium" on headspace to...
I always like to see how long each new bullet will plunk and work back from there. I don't like to push pistol bullets out to far, so I try to find a happy medium.
dont have anything for 124MW but here's a few using BE86:

Definitely look like plated bullets, OP give us a brand please. My guess is that is a mess up from the plating process. Would NOT load them until you find out.
