Is there a Semi equivalent of a Mossberg 500?

Does Beretta or Benelli make a semi-auto shotgun that is good for trap or skeet that can also take a shorter (18"-20") barrel and/or a pistol grip stock? I'm mostly a pistol person and am looking to get to the "do everything" (at least as close as I can) shotgun. I'm hoping to make one...

I'm aware of the storm but I live in California and I could get by with a meg tech like device but the storm is a no go.

I know they make them for Glocks and 1911s, does anybody know of a manufacturer for a 92fs?

How many calibers are too many??

No, you only need to have a stockpile (for lack of a better term) for a select few. The rest are fine for a box or two for hunting or plinking.

    Please Sig Sauer owners...

I know that Gray Guns specializes in Sigs but I have to respectfully disagree about TJ's work. He is opiniated (sp?) but does good work and to me that is what it is about. I have sent him several pistols and have been ok with one, very happy with several and ecstatic about two of them. He...

What's the best "true" pocket pistol...?

Although technically not a pistol I have carried a S&W airweight for years. I've tried other guns but keep coming back to that one. I think the cylinder bulge helps in pushing the candle away from the body enabaling (sp?) a faster draw. It is light, comfortable, reliable and accurate, in fact...

    Ca Assembly passes AB2235

Yellowfin is right. The range does have a different make up than my neighborhood. The best solution if not the only solution is to take new people out shooting. I found that a lot of people want to try it but aren't sure how or where. It can be daunting for a new person. I think that darn...

Is it just me or are gun prices going higher

"If we stopped throwing away billions into that bottomless pit called Iraq, we'd be the richest country in the world." I still wonder why we don't get to keep some of the oil from a country that we freed. That would help out quite a bit

    Which is a better .22lr?

I have a Mark II that shoots better than I do, for fwiw. It is built well and there is plenty of after market accesories if you like. I have a 5 1/2 bull barrell on mine. Even without trying the others I would recommend this.

Burning through ammo faster in a Ruger Mark 2

Any idea why they are calling a magazine a clip? Does look cool though. I thought they were gimmicky but from a couple of the previos posts it sounds like it might be the real deal.

230 or 185? Which for defense?

I carry a 45 by the bed and it loaded with 230 gr hydrashoks. I got to thinking that since a 125gr .357 is arguably the best manstopper wouldn't a lighter faster 45 possibly be better. Assuming that it functions in my gun wouldn't it (in theory at least) have the following positives: More...
