He never stated that he submitted anything to the ATF......He said he submitted his stuff to the SILENCER SHOP KIOSK.....

Thats not what he wrote, this is: "Silencer Shop single shot trust submitted via kiosk today. Waiting now."
Being that this is a thread about approval times it bears remembering what "submitted" really means in this era of eForms. "Submitted" means ATF has received the eForm 4. That doesn't happen until he certifies through his SS dealer.
For paper Form 4's, "the wait" was generally acknowledged to start on the date your tax stamp check was cashed.


I agree that words DO have meaning.....So tell me where his words have implied anything other than what he stated.....

His belief, and apparently yours, that one can submit a trust via the kiosk is clearly implied because THATS WHAT HE WROTE.

Maybe if you could spare the time……
You could write a “Sticky” about the process, so we don’t have to go thru this everytime someone “inadvertently” states they used the kiosk…

Since you are the only one who knows exactly how and what they are used for…

It wouldn't do any good.
Multiple times in this thread I had to make it clear that the kiosk just sends fingerprints, yet you kept posting.

Since you are the only one who knows exactly how and what they are used for…

But I'm NOT the only one. ;) Every dealer who has a kiosk knows what it does and what it doesn't. Literally thousands.

The article below from SilencerShop's website kinda leads one to believe that you can do MORE than just submit fingerprints. Looks like they say you can enter your information to be used on the eForm....

Yes, DEALERS should know everything about them......we are just LAY people, and chastising every one of us who says something a little not to your professional expectations, is not really being helpful or , for that matter, professional. But you keep up the fine work that you do, I'm sure someone will find it very helpful....:thumbup:

Which can be done from a phone or your computer at home.
Again, the only thing the kiosk does that cannot be done elsewhere is submit fingerprints.

Check cashed 3/18/2021. Picked up the Harvester today. Had a voicemail notifying me that the stamp was received, maybe end of last week?

Mine were submitted through Silencershop, scanned at one of their kiosks. I've been checking my status pretty compulsively since I've heard some other people that submitted around and even after the same day as me have gotten approval already.

Any day now!
 
My son , who went with a Form 4 single entity ownership of the 4 Supressors + extras he got in a deal with our Mach IV started a Kiosk transfer Sept 6 2021 and was approved April 15 2022 and picked them up today ! I am very happy with everyone involved in his dealings with these, professional and reasonably quick from the BATFE and all were processed in one batch. I have not been up to see him yet as it is snowy in Oregon and especially where he lives there. He fired a few of them already and is in Wonderland. He is a scientist and a gun enthusiast , the perfect guy to have these systems . He wants a .45 large suppressor and a .22 Salamander from MachIVShooter to finish him off. He believes his registration and the background checks he had with DEA last year in his business may have helped move things along so well . He and I are STOKED !

Glad to hear it! I submitted a Form 4 individual application and prints via Silencer Shop kiosk on September 8th 2021, so hopefully I'll get some good news in the next week or two.

My eForm 4 was certified the same day as you (1/18). Just curious, how were you notified you were approved? I don't know if I should be expecting an email from silencershop or a phone call from my local dealer.

I'm a Silencer Shop powered by dealer, not the customer.
Both dealer and customer should get an email from ATF with an approved eForm 4 attached.
