Waiting Time for Suppressor Approval?

I know I'm still well at the beginning of the approval line, but wondering for anyone getting a suppressor approved in 2022, how long did it take after submission?

This past Spring I was approved for my first suppressor..

ATF received my eForm4 on 15Jun22 and I got the email Approval notification on 17Mar23. So, 9 months for me.

Just an "individual", no Trust.

FYI

Last one I got was stamped after approximately 6 months from when I did the silencer shop thing then they waited almost a month to drop the stamp in the mail.
From the time I bought it till the time I got it was around 11 months because they really took their time doing the dealer to dealer transfer.

I got the electronic paper work with the stamp. looks pretty cool

Good to see these 6 month numbers. I'm getting my next one before the end of the year. Hopefully I can enjoy it at least part of the summer.

All that extra staffing in the BATFE to handle the "Brace" deal and entering into computor files all the back containers of papers they accumulated looks like it has really paid off for us that use NFS items. I have to give accolades where they are do in this matter of Form 4 processing , at least.

I have been wondering what was going on here with the sudden speed-up in processing times.

This is the only theory I've heard that makes sense.
