In Boise, Idaho I have to say Impact Guns is the best. They have a good selection and will match their internet price if you ask, which makes them very competitive with other internet dealers when you consider there's no shipping or transfer fees. Special orders can take time but they usually get what you want.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable plus the indoor gun range is a huge plus.

Based on inventory alone, I'd have to say Specialty Sports and Supply in Colorado Springs. They have over 7000 guns in stock and 99% of the time, you can find what you are looking for.

The service is just averaged, their prices are inflated compared to other gun shops, but the store is really impressive.

On Sight is a growing newer shop here in Casa Grande, but the owners are friendly fun people, and the store is bright, airy and full of lost of good stuff. They also do quite a bit of teaching, which I have no direct experience with, but I hear good things.

The only other one is a pawn shop up the street, and while pawn shops can be notorious for bad gun deals, A Nice Pawn on Jimmy Kerr blvd in casa Grande is a nice place with some seriously knowledgeable people working there. Drop by sometime - small place, big friendliness.

  • Best Shop in Cuyahoga County: Fin Feather and Fur Outfitters. They're up Bagley Rd. from the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds in Berea where the gun shows are held. They expanded from another location in Manfield(?) Lots of stock, especially handguns, with a good variety. Lots of ammunition, as well as reloading supplies and hunting gear.
  • Best Shop outside of Cuyahoga County: Dick's Gun Room, near Ernest Aingley(sp?) Ministries in Cuyahoga Falls. Not many deals, but one of the few places with actual collector guns or target guns/sights.
