They’ll be out of money in 20 minutes and then crow about what a success it was.
Been there done that. You are absolutely right, the buy back will last about 2 minutes. There was a similar buy back program for $1 per bullet for ammo. It also crashed and burned before it got off the ground,
In the state of Louisiana you don’t need a FFL to buy guns from an individual as long as you’re not doing it as a business.Wouldn’t it be funny if the ATF shows up and busts them for buying guns without an FFL?
Hey, it could happen....
I find number four on the list funny.I guess its happening...pulled this from the mayor's Facebook page

Still think it's odd the only place it's being advertised is on the mayor's Facebook, and i highy doubt its $500 per gun, looks like $500 max per person.
And the $.05 is if you actually put powder in them. Now that one would be great! I'd be up all night running the Dillon 650 and make sure I got there 3 hours before it started. My 9mm ammo runs me ~$0.05 each. $0.95 profit on each one!
Not a misprint. Says the same things multiple times on the mayor's Facebook page and she says it's $500 in her announcement about it on the video.I'm waiting to see someone post about what happened when they showed up and asked to collect on the offer. My guess is that it is totally fake, or a misprint that should have read $50 instead of $500.
