First one was a used Springfield XD .40. Bought it for $450. It was my duty gun for my job in armed security, which lasted 6 months, I hated the company so left and didn't pursue another job in the field as it was a second job anyhow. This was in 2008. It wasn't very accurate, and I never really fell in love with it, so I traded it in 2009 for a Ruger GP100 4", which I sold for $450 after about 2 years or so to fund some other firearm and I don't even remember what. I should have hung onto the GP100. It was a wonderfully accurate handgun with a fantastic trigger, but I had it in my head that I wanted to try everything, and didn't really know what I had. I figured i could always get another....turned out That one was even better than the Match Champion I currently own which is saying something. Never sell one that's great. Learned that lesson a few times now, and it finally sunk in about 7 years ago.
