couldn't cram all this in the title:

Has anyone tested 6.5 creedmoor 140 nosler custom competition .vs. hornady eld match .vs. berger hybrid target?

EvtSmtx;

Nope & no plans to either. I use the Sierra #1730 GameKing 140 grain in my 6.5 Swede. The load with that gives such outstanding accuracy that I have no plans to look further. 'Sides, I got a real big hunch the Sierra's are less expensive too.

So far all I've found that's premium about "premium" bullets is the premium price. I seem to be able to kill game animals with standard bullets just fine & have been doing so since 1961.

My Creedmoor handloads use the 140 Nosler CC hpbt, and I've shot factory ELD match loads. The Nosler bullets have been giving me great accuracy (regularly 0.5 moa, sometimes less) and I can get them for $49.99/250 at Sportsman's warehouse. I think the performance vs cost for the Noslers is excellent so I haven't tried handloading the ELD-M bullet. That said, the ELD factory ammo I've shot has shown decent velocity, and is amazingly accurate. If the Nosler bullets weren't such a good deal, I'm sure I'd be shooting ELD's.

Bergers are a bit rich for my blood and skill level.

i hear ya, the appeal to me from nosler is very decent performance and a very, very decent price. I have a 100 bergers and 100 elds but i think my focus over vaca week is settling on a nosler load and going crankety, crank, crank

Both are very nice and the difference is small. What are you looking for? The guys at the top of the 1,000yd game measure their score with differences of 0.001 and shoot less than 1.5" groups of 5. Those seemingly insignificant "drops in a bucket" really add up. If you get the 250 count, why not reload?
