Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

I just renewed/ purchased my Wisconsin concealed carry license. They made it excessively difficult, tge sight address wasn't same as letter, and then the sight didn't have the option the letter said to use. After clicking on something totally unrelated I found something vaguely related and clicked it. There I finally found the link indicated in the doj letter. Then they made me fill out a whole bunch of information they already have since I'm renewing. They took my 22 dollars and now have 3 weeks to decide to reissue. I'm sure they're hoping I made a simple mistake so they can deny.

Minutes ago .308 / "7,62x51" from a company owned by former Navy Seals: Canoe Club USA (in NV).
The ammo is new production Brass-Cased, from a NATO country: Lithuania. The primers have a colored sealant and a "cross" is stamped on the case heads.

https://canoeclubusa.com/308-winchester-147gr-fmj-ggg-600-rounds/ I've stored so much 7.62x39 that I traded/sold two cases of it (to a friend) in order to buy 1,100 rds. of this GGG and old FN M80 Ball Nato ammo (on links).
Stocking up a reserve to weather the next ammo panic, which could begin with almost no advance notice. Already have heaps of .308 (steel-cased, mostly for the PTR-91) because some of us don't "wait to be told Whether- or when to buy".

I purchased a .356 Star sizing die and a top punch from a member over on the Cast Boolit site and 20# of Pewter from another member over there. Both should arrive today.

It looks like Magma Engineering has closed up so individual sales and the auction sites will be the only sources for Star parts. There is a member over there that will be making dies for sale.

A word of advice: due to Postal Money Orders (with expedited $9.00 service+"tracking") now requiring an unknown number of days or weeks to reach a seller, my suggestion is for sellers to have an electronic payment system if no credit card system is possible.
The gent who sold me the StG on Imbel FAL (rifle) is waiting a number of days past the normal arrival date for so-called expedited mail.
Tracking, to use the phrase very loosely, finally shows it "in Phoenix". At least that is progress.

I'm aware of the drawbacks of PayPal and other 'policy' ;) reasons not to use them (as if PayPal even cares...), but you often will wait much longer on the US Postal System to send you your Postal money order checks with no idea when they will arrive.
Just sayin', if that's the current phrase.
I won a GB auction for DW barrel & seller suggested I expedite the USPS MO because some were taking up to 3 weeks to arrive in Florida. I did expedite it for $9 Friday, arrived Monday(CT to Florida). Another MO I sent regular mail to Vermont last Monday. We'll see.

@tommy.duncan, we'll need pics. I did the same a while ago, and the 6.5 Grendel AR quickly became a favorite!

Another 300 rounds. These are packed loose 300 to a box, not in the boxes shown. I got two 300-round boxes earlier this year and each one had only 299 rounds. Still a great deal.

100 rounds (50x2boxes) of Hornady .223 ammo arrived on my doorstep yesterday from Midway. Happend to use it to sight in a Ruger M77 in .223 and gun shot really well with it.

Decided I’d pick up a box here and there just for that particular gun. Problem is it’s a high demand product at Midway and they throttle back to 2 boxes per order. To soften the cost of shipping I rationalized in my twisted mind to buy something else to add to the order and picked up a CRKT Odr Axe for the newest son in law.
