New Lee APP arrived yesterday along with 500 wax bullets from the CBFDA. (cow boy fast draw association)The wax bullets will, hopefully let me do a little target practice on the outdoor air gun range I’ve set up on my Lani. Earlier in the month had bought a Crossman 1377 pistol with a 459 MT 3/8ths dovetail mount. Turns out the Daisy Red Dot is too small for these old eyes so a Monstrum Picatinny Adapter arriving Sunday will allow a larger reflex sight on the air pistol. An oxymoron I know but old eyes need all the help they can get.
In truth will be glad when this COVID-19 madness has run its course and I can get back to normal, for me, shooting at the county range.
Sorta envious of the folks here seemingly following their normal routine visiting LGS , pawn and other gun related shops. My wife and I haven’t left the house in almost a month now. Elderly and fearful of the pandemic. Even groceries are delivered.

Right To Bear Arms and Supply finally had some CMMG dedicated 4.5" 22 barrels and bolts in stock on Monday night. I received a shipping notice today. I can't wait for the barrel and bolt to arrive. I just need to get a barrel nut and short handguard for it now.

Barrel and bolt came in today. I ordered a Guntec 4" M-Loc handguard and a Kak Micro Flash Can today to finish the build.

Very typically former LEO, S&W 5906 (4th Gen. of 59 series): What an all-steel Tank!... to be a range gun, already owning Walther P99 AS, CZ PCR and Sig P6 for carry.
Had never heard about any classic semi-auto...all-Metal...DA/SA, S&W handguns until last week. Watching YouTube to disassemble and (clean) reassemble a friend's S&W 1911 led to this very fortunate discovery.
Only by a sheer fluke did a gun friend (software engineer) state that he owned this and would sell it to a "good home". Really good DA/SA triggers, and my gun had benefited from old LEO carry scratches being polished out.

He met me via Armslist about four years ago, and we have made about six gun deals.
Extremely slim odds to have so many common gun interests.....this S&W Feels Like it could have helped break the German encirclement of Bastogne in '44!

Good news: Notification that my 4/3/20 order of powder from Graf's was billed and shipped yesterday and should be delivered tomorrow.

Bad news: Notification of fraudulent charge to that credit card. Nothing but that powder and one tank of gasoline charged this month.

Card cancelled, being replaced.
When I have my powder in hand, I will tell the vendor to tighten up.
