A couple of VCP treated gun socks to put a couple of my rifles in after cleaning. I'm working my way around the garage safe cleaning and bagging my old bolt actions.
No -- I just walked away from a Benelli Nova 20-gauge in Gander Outdoors, red-tagged for $349. I had one twelve or so years ago, and I thought it was a handy little utility shotgun, but I let it go in a weak moment.
I decided to think it over. By the next day the sale was over. Whew! Saved from an impulse buy!
Bought some more percussion caps and .451 ball. Going though that stuff like none other. Aaaand starting to run out of powder for everything at the same time so that's going to be an expensive trip when that day comes...
Stopped in a small LGS and brought this .357 Blackhawk home. Made in 1976. Very good condition and a price I couldn't resist.
Might be posting again tomorrow because another nearby shop has a used Single Six Bisley in excellent condition with both cylinders and the original box.
Yup.
Bought 2 cases of .22rf (10k rds.) for $200 ea. (with free shipping), a golden rod for the safe and 5 lbs of IMR4955.
I'm set for a while, I think.
Set of suppressor sights for my Glock 19 MOS. Stock night sights hung over the back of the slide just enough to create a sharp point that hurt like heck when carrying IWB. New sights are properly sized as to not create a sharp edge and I can use them if the red dot fails. Can't believe Glock actually did something so dumb...
Went back to the local Mom n Pop gun store to reunite this Single Six with its big brother. Bought the 1976 Blackhawk Wednesday and the 1978 Single Six yesterday. Both were owned by the same guy who obviously didn't use them much. I'm feeling pretty happy now. Lol
