At the LGS yesterday and picked up a genuine Ruger replacement 9 shot magazine for the Ruger Mark 1 pistol that they sold me back in April. Didn't really need one but like to have a spare around. I was surprised they had one and all I had to do with it was swap the magazine follower button from the right to left side. Looks like they made some changes during the years they were building these. . .. .. .

Bought a 20" .223 Wylde Super Sniper straight fluted, brushed stainless steel AR15 barrel from Wilson Combat.
Put it on, then ran a bore snake through it to clean out any oil/debris... only to have it get STUCK to the point I had to clamp the bore snake in a vice and pull so hard I thought it was going to break. Turns out, the barrel has a significant burr where they drilled the gas port. All those high expectations, time waiting and work for nothing... BACK IT GOES.

You'd think they would drill the gas port BEFORE the rifling was done. That way, the rifling process would smooth out any burrs from drilling the gas port hole. That, AND you'd hope quality control was doing something besides playing on their phones...

Oh well. Bough a new car part that was defective. That came in yesterday and went back today.

It's getting ANNOYING.

Yep. I bought a beat up, rusty, dusty and crusty Savage single bbl 20 ga shotgun. The stock is missing. $30.00 from an estate sale.
I haven’t owned a single barrel since I was a kid. I’ll know in a few days if I have one now. It will be a fun project.

Nothing again. If its not the high cost of the item and all the fees its also the outrageous shipping or the possibility of never seeing the item. Also stopped selling stuff as i don't know what its worth today or in two weeks. I see i'm not alone from what others are saying.

At Academy today I bought a box of Winchester White Box .38 Special and two boxes of Monarch .380. Two months ago I couldn't find any .38 SP locally and the cheapest I saw online was right at $40 before shipping. This was $31 which was 10% - 15% pre COVID but wacha' gonna do. I have plenty of .38 self defense ammo but needed range ammo.

.380 is for my Sister In Law who recently gifted me a S&W Model 10-7 snub. She's a tough 'ol gal in her mid 70's, shoots a PPK and Bersa Thunder.

Also ordered an extra magazine for her Bersa and a S&W Shield magazine for my LEO sons BUG.
