Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Just ordered an 8# jug of IMR4350 and 500 Sierra 30 caliber bullets from Powder Valley. I wasn't planning on ordering powder right now but rumor has IMR's prices going up and Midway has already increased their prices. The 4350 at Powder Valley was $131 cheaper than Midway's newest prices.
Did the exact same thing.

Just ordered one of these pocket holsters after seeing it in this month's Concealed Carry Magazine (page 30). Pouch on either side can hold cash, cards, speed strip, etc.

A Holosun EPS red dot to go on a pistol I plan to purchase next week.

I bought a Holosun EPS green dot, and a Shield Sights mount a week or so ago for my SP5K. Worked out perfect for what I wanted it for.

I'm waiting on some stuff that I already posted about! 45-70 brass from Starline. This is the longest I have waited on them to ship something once they post that back order is ok. And I'm waiting on Powder Valley to ship some bullets and powder. Again, this is the longest that I have waited!

To be fair, there were the Holidays and then it looks like most of the East half of the Country is snowed in.

My first Kore belt. Opted for the 'armortek' leather-like and a buckle that looks like an old-style one to keep it all-purpose.
Got a LAG tactical holster for my CZ P10C a little while back, an OWB/IWB combo depending which clips you install. Very good holster, reasonably priced. Should get one for my P10S too, though the one for the C would work.

Just got an Email from UPS with a tracking number from Powder Valley. Expected delivery on Friday!

I went in to Sportsman's Warehouse in So Cal just to poke around and see what caught my eyes.

What really caught my eyes was how picked over the ammo shelves were. It looked like pandemic time; other than gobs of 12 ga nontoxic birdshot (at $25-40 bucks a box of 25), 20 ga 3” magnum non toxic or Federal 28 ga lead, all the other things were sparse. The only 9mm i saw was Federal 70 gr non toxic stuff, .22 LR and WMR had maybe 4 options each, and ALL Winchester ammo was gone.

Prices on all ammo I saw were NOT cheap.

Weird.

I did peek at a Browning .22 pistol. But I had just spent $500 on a gift certificate for the spa for my wife and MIL, so I didn’t look too long at it. They had SPP, so on the way out I bought 1,000 Federal SPP ( my preference for .38 Spl loads.)

Stay safe.

Almost hate to admit it, but I bought some factory 6.5 Grendel ammo. A couple of friends are interested in my 6.5 AR15 and I don't want them burning up my reloads. This way, they'll get a chance to shoot and I'll build my reserve of brass. 😊
