If You Could Have Only One Carry Piece For SD What Would It Be?

The OP said nothing about concealed carry, only carry. As such I wouldn't dream of limiting myself to a small, concealable piece. I'd be torn between one of my 4" Model 10's and my old Colt Series 70 45 ACP.

I carry a belt knife every day, but it never occurs to me to take a picture of it. Sorry.

Sure, blame it on the OP when you can’t make up your mind.

My first choice is my SP101 carried appendix in a surprisingly durable suede clip holster.
Totally concealed and comfortable with a spurless hammer.

My second choice for my "high capacity" (please note I said "my")
Is an EMP 9 in a summer comfort at 4o'clock.
Light and comfortable, easy to draw and get on target.
Love this little 9mm.

Nice background, what do the chess pieces look like?

One gun only, to do it all? Well since you’re asking and didn’t include much restrictions…..

A Star Trek phaser will provide:
Defense against every animal on the planet.
Defense against flying swarms of insects.
Defense against all two legged animals.
Will cut down trees with ease.
Will start campfires with ease.
Quickly boil water.
Heat or cook food.
Quickly burn food waste.
Turn bodily waste into disposable ash.
Cremate dead bodies in the field.
Signal emergency rescue craft at great distances away.
Quickly dry flooded campsites.
Will perform some welding.

I intended this as humorous satire, but now I really, really want one.
One gun to do it all.

It would definitely be my Walther PDP. I'm slowly getting this gun to where I want it.
I don't know how I could leave my PC ported Shield + at home though. It's been my main carry since I gave my last Shield to my son.

Since I got the right springs in the PDP, and put Springco's recoil management system in it, I like it a whole lot better. It is fast now. Easy to get back on target and shoot more accurately.
I've been spending a lot of range time with it lately.

Man, I really like the looks of that pistol. I go back and forth on getting one (with the reflex sight). Just cannot decide between 9mm or 10mm!
I have the 10mm and really like it. It is one of the smallest 10mm's that you can buy. 9mm has so many options, that I would go with the 10mm.
