I go to the Scheel's in KC. They have many name brand firearms on display that you can freely pick up and handle without being supervised by a sales person. And they have many higher quality pricier guns in locked cases that can be handled with the help of staff. The gun inventory is impressive. Currently they have a some .22 rimfire ammo, but prices are a bit high. They work at providing some reloading components, but it is hit and miss. Overall, I have come to like them better is some ways than Cabela's/BP. Since BP took over my Cabela's in KC, KS, It has become more of a clothing, boating, fishing store and ammo prices remain considerably higher than I can order in line and delivered to my door, They never have good sales any more. Scope prices are silly.
