It's just that even as much as I love guns and have a safe full of 'em, I don't get why anyone wants to walk into a Walmart strapped while shopping for a bag of Cheetos. I would never say you shouldn't have the right to do it and I applaud you for exercising your 2nd Amendment rights. I just don't understand why anyone would want to pack unless they are shopping at the Compton Walmart. I'm not trying to be confrontational or a wise guy, but even in a big city like Los Angeles I would never feel the need to pack a piece unless I frequented the ghetto on a regular basis. I'm asking an honest question here. Do you guys that carry really feel that unsafe?
The location has nothing to do with it. If I'm going to carry, I'm going to carry all the time. I can't even begin to devise some sort of rating system as to what locations are "safer" than others.
Is there really less of a chance of being assaulted while buying cheetos than while at the park with my family?
Think about it...
