My prediction is that GSG will swap furniture to remove the MP5 look, the officially licenced HK .22 will suck, and GSG will sell more, higher quality plinkers.
They...Cant...Without,
Dumping a ton of money into a stateside factory in a country that has A. an economic downturn, And B. Obama as President.
As mentioned, if they would release a legitimate halfway affordable civilian version of their firearms that didn't look like garbage with the thumbhole stocks and whatnot, people would buy the real thing instead of clones.
That hasn't been the case for the 30+? years that they've been around, those are both recent developments. They could have Ron Paul in office and and a great economic picture and they still wouldn't release civvy versions.
there was some problems at first but they have been taken care of. the early ones had a pressed in ejector that would work loose. the later guns have a riveted ejector. some gsg-5's would suffer from ftf from light firing pin strikes after a couple hundred rounds. the fireing pin was redesigned to fix that issue. there is also 4 bolts that have been known to lossen up causing all sorts of problems, but a little lock-tite will stop it if it happens to you.Is the GSG any good?
the only hummer thats ever been worth purchasing is the good ol H1

Post No. 81: anyone notice that the cartridges are placed in the magazine backwards...I think that may compromise the "Accuracy, Reliability - No Compromise".
Not surprised...it didn't appear to have been Photoshoped. The advertising executives really don't have a clue do they? That photo is a classic. There's a website somewhere with the story behind it. They actually published that photo at one point. I think it was on the cover of a catalog or something. And no...not on purpose.
