I am particularly curious to see what everyone is carrying on a daily basis for CCW and why. And by that I mean:

Primary
quantity extra mags/speedloader

Backup?
Spare mags/speedloader?

Right now for me:
LC9 (IWB)
1 extra mag (belt) (wish I had a double)
Hornady XTP 124gr

LCP (Pocket)
2 extra mags (belt) (got a good deal on a two mag pouch for the LCP so I stuck another in, wish I would have just got the single)
Hornady Critcal Defense 90gr

I carry extra mags not so much for extra ammo, but functionality of the mags in case something went wrong. I've gone back and forth and also went along time without carrying an extra magazine for whatever I carry, but now I always try to have at least one with me. When it gets back to jacket wearing weather I'll go back to my Glock 23 as my primary.

I just started carrying the LCP in my pocket. It was an impulse buy (that I don't regret) and I basically carry it for a "why not". As you know because of the size I can practically carry even if I was just wearing underwear. I'll probably ditch carrying the extra LCP mags if I am carrying two firearms. Just experimenting with it for now.....

For the most part either a Colt Agent right in my front pocket or a SP101 .357 in a leather pancake. That's it. No extra ammo, no primary/BUG business for me....I don't want to be loaded down with "stuff".

Ati 1911 45 5 inch four mags primary .Ria 45 compact bug. Kershaw leek right side 3inch tanto fighter left side.a shotgun or rifle in the truck.

I tote a G29 10mm in a Milt Sparks VMII and carry a 15rd. mag in a mag pocket built into the pants. In hot weather I have the exact same rig but with a G27 instead. In 10mm, I currently am using 180gr. XTP on top of 10gr. of 800X, new brass. In .40, I use the Ranger T 165gr. I have a G20, but that is mostly for the woods and the range.

I LOVE the 10mm. I love everything about it. It is accurate and powerful, it is the handloaders cartridge. It is so flexible in loading... In contrast, I don't load anything in .40 except light practice loads.

My wife, she carries a G17 2nd. gen. pistol in a Serpa holster installed in a computer bag/haversack/purse. Keeps it loaded with Ranger T 124gr. +P. She may end up going to 10mm too in the future, she likes the 200gr. loads at 1000fps. Says it has less brisant recoil than a 9mm.

Year round, I carry a Glock 17 loaded with Hornady 147 gr. XTPs in a black Galco CombatMaster (OWB) and a spare magazine of M882. (for 35 rounds total)

Usually have a small "tactical style" flashlight with me, too.

No backup.

Lately I've been carrying my Ruger SR9c loaded with 10 rounds of Winchester PDX1 124g 9mm+P ammo (no extra magazine and no extra ammo)....

Don't laugh at me.

Forehand Arms .32 S&W-L w/ bobbed hammer.
12 rounds total plus two more hidden bullets, can ya spot them?

Off topic, easyG-- Have you had a problem with your red paint coming off your SR9C? Mine came right off my LC9 the second time I shot it. Same with the front sight paint.... very disappointing.

Glock 19, Ranger 115 +P+, Glock Sportsman holster, 17 round mag in Fobus paddle mag holder. Cold Steel Recon 1 pocket knife, Green LED light on key ring.

I open carry simply because I can. It's alot less hassel than what you think. Why do you choose to conceal ?
I do that quite a bit, too.

Happily, it is a Right enumerated within the State's (Ohio) Constitution.

Pyro....maybe I'm just ignorant....but what is that?
An old gun (+100 years) that took a long time to fix up.
I found an IWB holster that fits but needed to be modified, see the retention screw.
The sear broke so single action was impossible, so I bobbed the hammer and made it DAO.
Turned out to be a reliable shooter as long as you use Federal ammo (soft primers).
Somebody carried this thing years ago, now it's my turn.

I carry one kahr cm or cw 9mm ,1 extra 8 shot mag.

VP release that you can not carry 2 firearms in all states as in NC. 1 only.

Wow, I didn't realize that, and I used to live in NC. I never carried two back then though.
