What gun is in your nightstand?

I'm new, I'll play!

I don't have a handgun permit yet, so I keep my Hi-Point 995 propped against the nightstand. 10 rounds of Remington 9mm in a mag in the drawer.

Of course, my WASR-10 and my Mini-14 are in drawers under the bed, and a bunch of my knives are stored behind the nightstand/under the bed.

I have a dog, but he's a friendly little Corgi who is more likely to wiggle his nub at you than bark.

I would never presume to tell someone else what to eat or how to deploy their defensive arms. I like having at least 1 point-&-squirt handgun I can reach without moving anything but my arm, and a "tacticool" shotgun &/or carbine only one move more away. If I'm awake, I figure I can think. Getting up, crossing the room, rummaging for the mag and inserting it, then assessing the situation and confronting the threat is long enough for the perp to kill me and my wife. The Beloved has a .38 snubbie within her reach too. Neither one of us would hesitate to use whatever force might be required to keep some lowlife from doing harm to us in our own home. Those who enter another's home with nefarious intent have no complaint if their poor judgement brings them to harm.

Depends on which I get out of the safe before bed. Either a Ruger SP101 .357 or Springfield XD9. Each loaded with a reload nearby, plus a Surefire G2. Gun stays on the floor by the bed, light is on the nightstand. I also have a Rifleman Hawk tomahawk within reach also, but that's last resort.

Beretta 92 w/golden saber +p's in nightstand,1 xtra mag w/blazer hp's. Wife's side, CZ-82 with Silv Bear HP's loaded alternate (every other round) with Wolf ball. Xtra mag loaded same. Under bed, Romie AK with 35rds of Wolf FMJ-HP-SP mix. It feeds them all the same. Ifthat ain;t enough, well......I fought the good fight and apparently God's plan was a little different than mine.
