What is your favorite gun

Hard to pick one but my old 870 sure means a lot to me. My Dad got it for me back in the 70's when i was about 13 or 14. I got my first deer with it in Northern Michigan in 1979. Probably got at least 50 more since then in the Southern Michigan shotgun zone including my biggest buck. Smooth bore with slugs, bead sight. All within 50 yards. I use it for small game too. I love that gun.

Impossible to say. I consider myself primarily a rifle shooter, and I generally like Remington 700s and Model 7s, although those aren't the only models in the safe. I generally prefer revolvers to semiautomatic handguns, and I really like Ruger revolvers. No way to pick one favorite, though.

My favorite changes from time to time, usually depending on what I'm doing a lot of. Been doing a lot of small game and trap with my model 12 so I'd go with that one. A month ago it was my AR-15 because I was shooting that a lot.

I have an 1885 Winchester (made by Miroku) low wall in .22lr. Just something nostalgic and cool about shooting a falling block single shot rifle that is accurate to boot. My favorite pistol is the 1911, dated technology, heavy and low round capacity but I shoot it more accurately than all the polymer pistols I own. Carried one a number of years in the Army and I guess it's the nostalgia thing again. A polymer 9mm is my carry gun and I really like it but it just doesn't have the character of the 1911.

My little .22 Magnum Zastava wannabe Scout Rifle.

I see that I am not the only one to gravitate to the .22 magnum. It’s just so versatile, and enough gun to get the job done. I’ve dropped a yote at a full gallop at 95 yds. Best shot I ever made.

Even though it's been neglected of late, my favorite is still my DW VBob.

No special attachments to any of my rifles or shotguns.

My favorite gun ...
My favorite old hymn ...
My favorite book of the Bible ...

LOL! The one I’m shooting/ singing/ reading at the moment. Hard to pick just one.

But I do like and shoot and accumulate more 9mm semiauto handguns than anything else, so that’d have to be my favorite platform.

And of all those, the CZ75 has such a nice trigger, both DA & SA, and it fits my hand so well.

But the Springfield 1911 3# SA trigger makes shooting as easy as breathing.

And the Armi Jager Italian .357 Dakota (SA army clone) has a less than 3# trigger along with that pretty case hardened finish and brass/walnut grip.

Sigh. It’s like picking a favorite child.

My belief that if you EDC, you should find a gun that you actually like to shoot. A gun that will make it fun and enjoyable. I carry small guns and like the challenge they provide. I like to challenge myself each time at the range. The more i started shooting small guns about 12 years ago, the more I got hooked. So, my fun range guns are now the Beretta Pico, the Beretta Nano and the Ruger LCR9mm. I have had many other small carry guns, but these are for me the one's I have finally settled on. Especially like shooting the LCR and the LCR22.. There is just something about them.
Yes, I enjoy shooting all guns, love the Blackhawk, 22.cal rifles etc. I dislike shooting big 9mm semi's. I just find them on the boring side. Too easy to shoot and just go through ammo like they are 22,cals. So in that case, I just shoot 22.cals.
What is the most fun lately? Believe it or not, the Midland 12 ga. shotgun. I know it sounds crazy, but I have had a great time taking this little lightweight, short sucker to the range and experimenting with different shot loads. And just bought a Shortlane 9mm adaptor.Looking forward to adding other adapters like the 45 colt, 40.cal, and even the Muzzle loading adapters.
