What is your "funnest" pistol?

Me Shooting: My little Yost 1* Colt Compact Model 1991A1

Me Loaning YOU a Gun: My little Yost 1* Colt Compact Model 1991A1 stoked with .45+P :what:

Whoops! How did THOSE get in there?!?!?

My 1911-A1's in .45ACP.

Next is the rimfire Ruger MK II

Both the Single-Six and Vaquero after that. I use the Single-Six and MKII for the teaching beginner level shooters. If they want something with more BANG!, I'll put cowboy loads in the Vaquero

I know...the MK II and others I listed aren't centerfire autos, but still FUN to shoot

It’s a tossup between my Ruger MKII stainless 6 7/8 bbl and CZ75B. Both are ‘golfball popping’ accurate, completely jamfree, and fast on followup shots. The Ruger is cheaper to shoot though.

My Kimber Classic series 1.

Glock 17L longslide.
Sweet shooting and extremly accurate out to 50 yards or more with the right ammo.

Tough call since you barred the rimfire model (My Ruger Standard) I dearly love.

It would be a toss-up between three.

1. is my .380 Makarov
2. CZ75B in 9mm
3. FN Forty-Nine in .40

The Makarov is just fun. The makawrap grip makes all the difference between fun and masochism...a clear reference to the crumby red plastic things I put on to make it look more correct. It's a commercial Bulgarian and it wears commercial grips. It never fails to go bang either.

The CZ75B, ah yes. The ergonomics, the tame recoil, the accuracy. Whats not to love. The thing I hate is that I can never seem to afford enough ammo to keep myself happy long enough.

The FN Forty-Nine. It's lightweight, its a full size gun and that .40 makes a nice loud bang. Accurate, high capacity, uber-reliable and easly the best ergonomics of any gun I own.
The novel safety system...or lack thereof is always nice. The repeatable secure striker (fancy DAO setup) gives a nice consistent trigger pull that doesn't stack up and allows you to feel the parts inside working.
The trigger is a little heavy at 10lbs, but I'll take a good, consistent 10lbs over a lighter, less consistent pull.

My CZ PCR. It fits my hand just right. Its 9mm so its cheap to shoot. I do not have any problems getting a tight grouping on a target. :)

Browning HP....Light...accurate and fun to shoot...and I never have a problem with it

Toss up.

Tricked up* Colt .380 Mustang...

or the Detonics Combat Master .45ACP.

Both are truly wonderful close-range blasters for CCW, and really fun at the range, too.

A light nod to the original issue, heavy barrelled M60 as well.

*(you really DO have to run it through a gunsmiths workover for optimum performance)

i'm desperately hoping to get a 9mm (or 22) that's even half as much fun as my model 13-3 - grinning uncontrollably and shooting 357's is NOT a safe (or cheap) combination! :D

Whiever one is newest :D

on the other hand, maybe its whichever one hasn't been shot for the longest time. There's something about re-discovering an old friend.

Or maybe its the Hi-Power (clone.)?

Aw, heck, I love 'em all.

Although it doesn't fit your criteria, my little Walther P22 is my most 'funnest' pistol. I think it is the consumate plinker and my friends always seem to want to line up to shoot it at the local gravel pit. Ten shots in 5 seconds, no recoil, quite accurate at plinker distances. Throw a tennis ball about 25 yds down range and watch it dance :D

My next choice for pure fun is my Kel-Tec Sub2K carbine in 9mm. Same deal. Just plain fun to shoot all day long.

Sig Pro 2340 40S&W. Never had a FTF or Jam. Always hits where I aim. And feels the best in my hand.

He said centerfire guys. So the CZ 85 combat in 9mm. If you had asked rimfire, then Browning Buckmark.

My Springfield Loaded Black Stainless. The trigger is terrrific, I love the ergonomics, it looks great, it is totally reliable and it is very accurate. What more could you want? :)
