How was Romney the lesser if two evils? He would still be calling for gun control only he wouldn't have the republicans in congress fighting him. And there is no reason to believe his Supreme Court nominations would be more second amendment friendly than Obamas.

1. No he wouldn't--political suicide
2. He is by far "more" conservative then Obama
3. There are a myriad of issues where Obama is off the chart left and would appoint based on his views.

I'm really sick of this guy, are Americans just "that" stupid to elect this abomination to lead the Country in these times of strife.
i can't help but lead one to imagine a conspiracy theory where the very few wealthy familys in this country are pulling all the strings.
My old "Wise guy" type friends from NY, always insisted that this was the case, and I couldn't wrap my head around it, but i am beginning to believe they were correct.
It's a legal way to commit crimes on a larger scale, how come "so called normal people can't see what's going on".
Unless you are on the recieving end of this free Obamma money, you really have to be an idiot to believe anything he says
He never does his own dirty work, instead he has someone else to do it for him. Every controversial thing that comes up is given to a comitee, so he has deniability. It's criminal, if anyone needed to be impeached it's this clown.
My doctor just got a notification that they are cutting another 10 % off what medicare pays him, so guess who has to make it up. $50 dollar copays.
This is with everything, and he keeps spending money we don't have.

We have a 50% reduction in violent crimes in the past 20 years.

Back to the original OP---it's clear to see how Obama is going to approach this now. By executing 19 EO's he will appear(to his base) that he is being tough on guns. However on the real concerning issues of capacity and weapon bans he can politically let it run its course in Congress(and lose) to then pin it on them that it didn't pass to his ojections and people on the other side will blame them. He will say he did "everything in his power".

Romney signed an AWB into law as governor. And he's not a conservative in any way. He even implemented socialized medicine. If you elect one anti gun republican into the Whitehouse they will never run anything else again.

That's why I didn't vote for him.
I still voted for the guy, I was just pointing out that I dont trust in many republicans gun views. The only trust I have now is that there will be enough of them that dont want to pass a bill their opposition presents. I am afraid that if any justices retire or die in the next 4 years we will get more types like ginsburg, which is why I still would have preferred a different outcome.

True because Eisenhower ensured Republican values with his appointees. <snicker>

I live in WV where "Mountaineers are Free". That went down the crapper with our elected officials falling in step with Obama. 50yrs ago I would have thought this wasn't possible here. I still have property in KY and just want to finish my life not bothering anyone and not being pushed. I may move up a hollow in KY, post it and defend it as long as I have the strength. I'll control gun violence on my own property until it is taken away.

I didn't vote for Obama. I just didn't vote for Romney.

Then you, like many others, wasted your vote and helped get one of the most liberal presidents this country has ever seen elected for a second term. Whether you like Romney or not, he would have stayed loyal to his base.

Yeah refusing to tell the repulicans that it's ok to run a socialist is a bad thing. The man was never loyal to his base. He signed an assault weapon ban into law that guarantees I would never vote for him.

We'll never know will we?

Instead of a ban them all type in bed with feinstein (present day)...

We could have had a fence sitter. :D

Awesomeness.

At least he would have gotten rid of entitlements that are bleeding the working class dry and weakening our political power. You gotta think a little deeper. Obama is empowering our opposition by showering them with free money. Romney would not have done that.
