We can float the chainsaws to you guys when we're finished. We may leave Austin for you if they get any more liberal from what I've been hearing from my friends to the South.:neener:

Actually, if you could Fedex them to Idaho, we could cut off Canada so Idaho is no longer land locked to the lower 48!!

C'mon guys this is a job for trackhoes and draglines. We want to keep our chains good and sharp going to need to fell a lot of lumber for these fences we'll be needing to build!

Maybe you can just build a fence to the north/east/west. The one to the south worked well didn't it?

A CZ 75 SP-01. "High capacity" magazines and all.

Nice!

I seriously doubt you'll have any problems, even if something were to go in to effect tomorrow. What you have has already been imported. Even if he shoves a 100% import ban down our throats it won't affect you.

Now that I'm done with bulletin boards for the night, I think I'm going to go label all of my AR-15 magazines "458 SOCOM". That way they're still politically correct 10 round magazines.

:)

We in Texas are going to use our chainsaws and cut around the border and push ourselves out into the gulf. Or at least that's my plan if I can find enough chainsaws.

I've got 10 chainsaws.... I will start out by carving Austin out of our great union and donate the other 9 to whoever is working our other borders.... Join y'all when I'm done with the liberal capital of Texas.

....Unless you're in NY :barf:

Maybe we can trade Austin for Ruidoso, New Mexico. Most everyone that lives there is from West Texas. We'll lose our capital but have a place to snow ski in the Winter. :D

Apologies for getting off topic.

Chainsaws are great for making abatis. We could surround California and Chicago with them. Maybe they'd keep the idiots and their ideas there.

Hey, some of us in CA actually are on the right side, just the urban areas please!!

nobody seems to believe he'll do anything. expect at very least a nationwide hicap magazine ban.
It'd be completely without the force of law.

He's got no more authority to impose a magazine ban by decree than he does to make Islam the state religion.

I was hoping to see the list of 19 items soon.

Maine is pretty awesome and pro-gun too.... since some time has passed since the school shootings it has gone back down to 50% pulled who want any changes at all... and give another week or two we will tip back to pro gun.

A few more are concerned about magazines, but that is simply because York and Cumberland counties are liberal and highly populated but as a state we are very pro 2nd amendment.

Can we all just calm down until something real is announced. Then at least we'll know exactly what we have to fight. All this speculation is pointless.

Next thing you know someone will say that Walmart has stopped ordering ammo for stock.

I have no doubt that he CAN and WILL create havoc in the gun world. - Alaska444

I can remove that doubt. Right NOW, I can't even find a box of .22s to plink with.

Just sooo thankful I live in a red, conservative, pro-2nd Amendment state. Having those idiots Obama and Biden in office is bad enough. I could not imaging living in NY with a Governor and influential anti-gun mayor pushing legislation through their courts. PATHETIC...

... prosecuting straw purchase attempts, ...

DOJ OIG Report of Operation Fast and Furious:
The owner of FFL2 said his concerns grew as months passed and the
same individuals continued purchasing the same weapons. He told us that he
knew these individuals were straw purchasers and could not understand why
they were not being arrested. Like the owner of FFL1, the owner of FFL2
told us his previous experience with ATF was that after the store provided
agents with the name of a suspicious purchaser, the individual was not seen
again. The owner of FFL2 said he did not know what ATF did after it received
the name, but that he would often get subpoenaed months later to testify at the
trial of that suspicious purchaser.
The Obama Administration needs an executive order to return to prosecuting straw purchases by unlicensed dealers and illegal traffickers??? All they need to do is start enforcing existing laws. Operation Fast and Furious was obviously (now) a deliberate policy of not enforcing existing regulatory law to justify calling for more restrictive laws.

Exactly....what existing law would he use to reinterpret it into a magazine ban?

He can not make news laws, he can only change the way current laws are enforced.
