29 pushing 30 :uhoh:

Department: USDA
Agency: NASS (National Agricultural Statistics Service)
Job Title: Agricultural Statistician ( Not as bad as it sounds )

Single right now. I like things simple.
Can’t have pets where I am which really sucks.
No need to buy a house, I’ll be moving somewhere else in a few years.
Student loan will be paid for in 20 months I think, no other debts.
Bought three handguns in the past 10 months.

24, single. Until September, I made $24k a year. No benefits. No sick days, no paid holidays and no vacation time. Things are better financially now but I'm still in California :barf:

Everything I own except for mattress and gun safe fit in my Honda.

41
married
2 boys (5 & 8)
1 dog
good job (sales manager)
one mortgage
need more guns, trying to be somewhat selective
only accidental discharges are in the wallet

45 going on 26. Married (2nd time but I got it right this time). She has 2 kids, 1 at home but not for long. 4 dogs, variable number of cats. All vehicles are paid for. No bills outside of utilities. No credit debt. I work as a senior sysadmin on a project for the FedGov/ICE/DOJ and make what I consider to be 'quite adequate' money.

I've only bought 3 firearms this year, 2 MN44's (one for her) and a very nice Stg58. I'm being a little more particular on what I buy these days... mostly very nice milsurps. Next new purchase will likely be a 1911 the wife wants. I seem to be able to buy anything I want when I want to especially since I quit buying every old Volkswagen and motorcycle I stumbled upon.

Regards,
Rabbit.

47 and divorced, 2 sons (both grown, but their hands stay in my pockets more than my own), 1 grandson, 2 trucks, 1 car, 1 bike, earn my income as a millwright, small gun collection (but steadily growing).

Hi! My name is QuarterBore! I'm 35, married, no kids- two cats.

Manufacture and sale of hardware for the wireless telecom industry.
Previous to that was manager of and indoor range and gun store in Cali. (which is where most of my guns come from- it's easier to get paid in guns than cash that I have to turn into guns)

And my turn on's are Smith & Wesson revolvers, Sub .25 caliber rifles and Italian motorcycles.

My turn off's include Diane Feinstein, Chuck Schumer... and how much time you got?

54, married, 3 grown kids, 4 grandsons.
I own a small retail awards company. Most of our extra income goes into working on our 70 year old house and 35 acre farm. We pay cash for all of it and try to do all the work ourselves, so it goes slow.

My collection of guns is fairly large, but I started over 30 years ago.

Oh, BTW, that's not a screen name. ;)

45, wife and two kids
chief investment officer for two rich guys
Into handguns and reloading; rarely buy guns and never sell

25, single, no dependents, and I keep my expenses down by...well...living with my parents. Yes, I know. The rent's cheap, anyway, and

I work as an IT engineer, make fair money, and most of it is being saved for a new car. I haven't bought a gun in over a year. :(

Retired since age 48

Reclusive ol' man

Gonna be 51 shortly. Trying not to live too vicariously through 15-year old son. Being a firearms instuctor sometimes serves as a good "need" for buying, testing, and/or trading various toys. But ... The Wife said today that our daughter at UT needed another $500 put in her account, so there went the plan for splurging on a new hog huntin' handgun ... For a while anyway. No biggie though. Much more content to have two really good kids. :)

I haven't bought a gun in over a year.

I pride myself on being tough, but that made even me kind of sad.

Be 47 in Feb. Married, but the kids are all grown. Make a goodish wage, and my main interest is milsurps which tend to be less spendy.

Although I must admit that since I got my C&R FFL, the wife's jaw is tightening a bit.

38, married 15 years, 2 kids: boy 4, girl 10 months.
3 Australina shepherds, no cats (there IS a God!!)
Banker/Rancher

Always need guns - don't always have the money. There are other hobbies to feed.

We seem to do this every few months. I think its a good idea with all the new folks joining in and such. Gives us somewhat of an idea just who we're dealing with.

Im currently holding on to the tender young age of 37.
(Feels like I'm 18 though)

Currently serving in the U.S. Air Force
(Stationed in sunny Arizona)

Married for too long (19 years now) and have 3 teenagers

I plan on retiring from the Air Force in 2007 when my last child graduates High School.
(Still dont know what I want to be when I grow up)

OK, I'll play.

33 this month. Single and no kids for now.

Currently, I'm the Clinical Director of a small family services agency. That means I oversee a bunch of in-home psychotherapists working with kids and families. It's a non profit agency, so it's taken me three years and several tax returns just to work up the cash to covet the STI Edge I'm looking at...... Human services don't pay much no matter how qualified you are. My student loans are higher than rent!

38 yr old male, been married for almost 16 yrs :D , have two boys, that will be 12 and 9 next month. IM a System Engineer (14 yrs) wife a VP at a bank.

Always enough $$ for toys!

Life is GOOD :D

Howdy, I'm 24 years old
College Math Lecturer/Teaching Associate/Grad Student
Single for the next 3 years or so.

I don't have a ton of money like the people you mentioned, but I'm definitely planning on buying myself some 1911 real soon. How nice of a 1911 depends on how well I do on my Comprehensives! :D

41 year old male.

I work as an R&D engineering manager in America's shrinking electronics manufacturing industry.

I have a domestic partner. I'm gun-shy on marriage (divorced). She's an overpaid middle manager in LA County social services. Fire and ice since I'm conservative and she's a bleeding heart liberal.

So life is good here too.

30yrs old with a wife of 3 years and a 2 yr old son. House and 2 vehicles within last few years also. Wife is a assistant mgr for large national chain and I'm more-or-less managing the recieving/shipping for a truck equipment dealer/distributor. Had most of my guns prior to marriage/family but have been able to get a few that were out of my price range prior when there weren't other obligations to attend to first. Those I buy now, I can only afford through the "gun fund" which grows by only 50-60 dollars each paycheck. typically the yearly gun budget runs around $1500-$2000 more depending on bonuses.

Leave it to a girl on here to try to find out more about who you people are besides just a screen name.

Just your average 54 year old pro geek. With debts, wife, two cats and an occasional range or gun club as dependants.

Who was in the Projection Club in the 1960's... high on the "more geek than thou" scale.

38, single (divorced), good paying job as a technical writer for a government contractor, 2 wonderful dogs who are my best buddies, don't have very good impulse control when it comes to the purchase of firearms.

But I am sitting on nearly $150,000 equity in my home.... I need to buy out a gunshow!
