I am a Biomedical technician for a national medical equipment rental company, I should be making about 2 times what I am but I am not certified.

1 in college, 3 in Private school. I beg, borrow, and steal to get guns.

I bought 2 in the last week, first ones in about 5 months.

I tend to trade or resell.

Occupation: Systems Engineer in the design of US Govt Satellite, Communication and Missile systems.
Types of critters that come through my yard: black bear, mountain lion, mule deer, coyote, fox, bobcat. I enjoy seeing them unless they try to eat me. Harmed so far..0-them, 0-me.
Climbed mountains: many covering 5 continents.
New firearms considered: Many, but my safe won't hold more. Most, 75% are older military historical firearms.

52, been divorced for over 10 years. Safety Inspector at a nuclear facility. I like warm baths, long walks and......sheese, I'm getting carried away!;)

Well I'm 24 almost 25, working in the Information Assurance field and desperately wanting to find the same job in a more gun friendly state (offers welome ;) ). I also run a side job that employs a certain beautiful domestic engineer. I'm on a once every time I can convince the wife plan (which is getting easier :) ).

Holeee ....... *&%+* ....... don't these sorta threads grow fast!:p Yep .. always good once in a while. Guess I've done some of this b4!!

Ok so ...... ''I'm Chris, and am a gunaholic''!!!!!!

58 ... far nearer 59 than is comfortable. On paper ''Degree Systems Engineer'' ... in practice self-employed and work on web oriented stuff, data conversion etc ... thus somewhat glued to the infernal puter. But do manage time off pretty much when it suits .. when I can swing it!

Ex pat Brit .... married, 2nd time round ... and very happy with it .. 2 kids of my own, daughter 28 and son 26 ... he is not far away from me .... we are shooting tomorrow ! Also step daughter 18 and step son 16 (almost). Mental cat ... geriatric dog ...... oh and step daughter has a damned ferret!

In some ways like to think semi-retired ...... sold up a lot three years ago and have sunk far too much into the gun collection but balanced that by much work on house too. Live a simple life really.

Love reloading ... done that for 23 or more years .. but hard to make the time for as much as I'd like.

Keep thinking I have ''enough'' guns but . hell ... there is ALWAYS something else creeps onto the list!:banghead:

Oh - biker dude also ... Honda VTX1300-C4

I'm 34 and have been married since 1988, two daughters 14 and 9.

Joined the Navy in 1987 as an aircraft mechanic and got out in 1997 and became a civilian aircraft mechanic and private pilot, only need a check ride for my instrument rating.

I make a decent income and have managed to buy a few guns, I've traded many guns for the new fangled whatever. I'm not a collector, I just keep certain guns that fill certain niches.

Grew up on the eastern shore of Maryland, stationed in VA, CA and DC, moved back to the eastern shore then to MT for 15 months and now reside in my wife's hometown of Memphis, TN.

I have no pets, rent an apartment in east Memphis and drive a blue '98 ext. cab Z71, my wife drives a silver '96 4dr 4X4 Jimmy.

57, married, productive, able to buy toys. Wife works also. (my wife does not peek in my Gun safes, I don't peek in her jewelry safe)

Two grown kids, both successful. Three Scotties, a Cherry 1976 Ford F-100 with a 400 CID small block, Headman headers, Edlebrock carb, 4 speed manual/overdrive.

Life is good

34 yo, married 6 1/2 yrs, with twin Sons (2 1/2 yrs old).

Veterinarian. Looking at my paycheck, you'd think I make a fair amount, but I still have tons of school debt. Vet School ain't cheap, especially the one I went to (U of PENN). :(

Lots of pets (go figure).

Wife is an Artist, staying at home with the Boys right now.

Recently got my MA machine gun license, so I'm in BIG trouble now. Good thing we just got a home equity loan!

24, police officer, single w/ girlfriend
she's finishing up her degree and doing temp work in the mean time.
i'm looking at other police jobs where i can put my degree to work.
i spend too much money on guns. i think i need to seek treatment! :D

43 here.

Married (happily) 17 years, two teenage daughters (3 wives $$$ ) :)

HFC Network Engineer for a large telecomunications company. Make a decent salary but nothing astronomical, wife works full time as well.

Don't really have any other hobbies or spend money on much of anything else, on me personally I mean, most goes to family stuff. Squirrel away whatever I can out of each check and spend it as I see fit. Was lucky enough to buy several guns this year, along with a new belt and holster, a knife, several flashligts, lots of ammo and a few other accessories. Wow, guess I did spend alot this year, but that is not quite the norm.

34, married almost 4 years, no kids (yet), 2 dogs, 1 cat, IT manager for fortune 100 company (don't let that fool ya). Moved to FL for work from Dallas in 2000.

I buy s many guns as I can when I can. I have averaged about 1 every six months for the past few years. Sold more than I own in the past.

34, Captain on Airbus 320, married 6 months, no kids, no pets, no house yet but near zero debt. We both work, I can afford the guns, I just don't want to go overboard. Besides, we gotta save for the house.

My guns are my toys. I have a total of 6, but a want list of six pages.

19, currently in Community College and transfering to East Carolina University this summer, majoring in Psychology. Part-time job as a Grocery Container Engineer (or a bag boy), and always broke. Currently diagnosed with Black Rifle Disease, but can't afford an operation. :)

20, student (recently changed from engineering to tech), single. Most recent new gun was 3 or 4 months ago...I won't be getting more in the forseeable future, as what I have now is quite sufficient for my current situation. Everything I own can fit in my Subaru (unlike Skunk, I don't have a mattress or gunsafe).

23, accountant on my way to a CPA certificate. About half of my income is disposable so I have no problems. I have no problems except that I am cheap and watch my money to closely. I have the worst buyers regret of anyone you will ever meet.

  • How old is everyone?

  • 42
[*] What kind of job do you have?
I'm a formerly hands-on technical manager with two decades of experience in systems development & processing -- however, I am currently employment challenged (unemployed).
    [*] Married/single/family?
Just celebrated my tenth wedding anniversary at the beginning of the year and we have a little munchkin that started pre-K at the beginning of the present school year.

26, IT, single. Bought 6 guns this year, but none since May. That's mainly because I was saving for the house I bought 3 weeks ago. Now most of my money seems to be going to Home Depot, instead of my friendly local FFL.

we are everyone from everywhere I guess . . . .

39, 4 kids, dog, nice wife - lets me buy whatever guns I want!

IT consultant, no complaints in spite of the economy, just bought a Kimber Gold Match II in October and a S&W 629 perf center version Wednesday.

Going to the range with two of the munchkins tomorrow to sight it in . . . . girls will "man" the spotting scope.

Age 70. Married 51 years. 2 sons, 1 daughter [all dandies] 7 grandkids. Live on farm which has been in family since 1862. Retired from roadbuilding [43years]. Have 4 Border Collies. 1 mini-van, 2 4wd pickups, 1 BMW bike. More guns than I need. A very nice wife, and a heart that is ready to go AWOL, so I live a quiet life.

25 years old, facilities manager, single, no kids, 1 new car, one old truck, I rent, don't smoke, don't drink, don't do drugs. Those last three are how I justify to myself spending money on firearms.
