Who are you?

Hmmm. Married, 54 years, Vietnam vet. 6 Years active duty USAF (at Beale AFB with the SR-71s in 1972-1973 before I went to Nam. Started the on-base motorcycle club). To Ramstein in 1984-1977, and out. Returned to US Army life as an aviator in the Reserve & Guard. Now a senior officer with US Customs & Border Protection at Skid Row (San Ysidro, between Tijuana and San Diego) catching bad guys and drugs. As to buying guns, well, yes, thank you, I do. I make them better, and then pass them on. So far this year, I have given three guns to my fellow officers, simply because it gives me great joy to surprise someone and make their day. Instead of stabbing them in the back, as Management here is wont to do, I do something FOR the officers here. Also give each and every new officer on Midnights (my shift) a quality knife, retail $59-99). Have presented good officers this year with a 6" S&W Model 14 .38 Special, an OD green CZ-75B with a duty-carry trigger job and Wolff springs throughout, and just informed the third officer of his receipt of a Charles Daly High Power with a Cylinder & Slide wide trigger, (no mag disconnect, YEAH!) and 4lb. trigger, again with Wolff springs throughout. I LIKE making people happy. Especially people who may have my back on a dark and stormy night, or I, theirs.

Serving you all on the Southern Border and thanking, profusely, ALL U.S. VETERANS!

52, married 28 years to the same wonderful woman, two girls, one just out of college, one still in, sales engineer.

I'm 51 going on 70, divorced father of four good shots, two of them female. Now living with two overstuffed cats in a small inner-city apartment that smells of gunpowder, Hoppe's #9, and BBQ. XLEO, now semi-retired and working security, which means sitting on my keister 40 hours a week in a mostly-empty building, playing on the 'net and watching out for bad guys who know better than to come around here when I'm on duty.

I live for range time and accurate guns, good music, and good food, and I love to cook. Handloading is a passion bred by the quest for accuracy, and I'm an avid shooter but have to work at being really Good at it.

I'm training as many shooters as I can before the 2AR begins (2nd American Revolution :p) begins, I have a history as a handgun trainer and I enjoy bringing new shooters into the fold.

This may appear to be a very dangerous man. :uhoh:

Au contraire. His humor, kindness,
knowledge of levers & reloading
say otherwise.

23 years old, single, and rent. have 2 jobs as lube tech (I know how to operate that thing that pumps 12gal of delvac into a truck) that keeps me going 7 days/week. I know what I want, what the MSRP is, and shop for the best price. I always pat less than MSRP.

I'm 35 years old (holy cow, 36 is around the corner), and I just completed my 13th year as a dispatcher for the Pierce County Sheriff's Department in Washington. I have a girlfriend who has a daughter, and a few animals that keep my life busy.

I work a lot of overtime and try to allocate some money monthly to my accommodate my fancy for guns. I don't have an extensive or lavish collection, but I am happy with what I have and love the fact that I live in a state where I can carry concealed and purchase what I want. I'm certainly not done and don't have everything I want in my collection, but all things considered in this day and age, I feel rather lucky and privileged to be where I am in life.

Thank you for this thread, by the way. Nice to have some personality behind the names I see so frequently.

Who Am I?

Loaded question... No pun intended.

36 years old

No Spouse/Girlfriend/Significant Other/Stalkers That I'm Aware Of.
No kids ( I like kids, but I like Ferraris as well. Don't plan on getting any of them, either).

Work at a nuclear facility in the Southwest, consequently spending the money NOW for vacations, and fun things that go "BOOM", as opposed to saving for retirement.

26 Married with new baby

I grew up hunting so I've always been around guns. This year with the impending doom coming to Washington I figured it was as good a time as any to start filling in the gaps.

I run a small business and see the boss once every few months.;) I by no means can buy on a whim but I scrape and save and do a little work on the side here and there to fund my funs....i mean guns

Wow

Just noticed this old revived thread and found my old post:

25
1 gf
2 cars
1 bike
1 dog
working to pay the bills and working to get my BS in political science

Not real sure what I want to do when I grow up, except that it must be able to afford me a Modena 360.

I'm almost 30 now
same girlfriend
different car, different truck
different bike
same dog
bought a house
graduated with a BS in Sociology and now I'm a police officer

Still not sure what I want to do when I grow up but accepting that I'll never be able to afford a Ferrari and I'm ok with that.

20 year old Mechanical Engineering student. I'm a scoutmaster for a local scout troop. Been working at an auto repair shop for the last three summers and am now making good money with them until August. I've been working since I was 15 so I have been blessed with plenty of toys. If I ever got away from cars and guitar I would have way more guns.
