32 years old. Born and raised in Denmark, naturalized American citizen, and zealously so. Project manager and amateur historian (I do some translation work on the side).
No military or LEO experience, though I've trained with both. Holocaust survivors on both parents' sides, and I was raised with a strong "never again" attitude. Grandfather served with the Finnish army and had 26 confirmed kills, great-uncle was a pilot for the RAF during WWII. Father was an interpreter, and he came under (and returned) fire a couple of times in Beirut in the 80s. Many ancestors worked in the Danish resistance during German occupation.
Needless to say, my life's pretty much gravy compared to that.
I'm unmarried and celibate, so I've got all sorts of disposable income
I have two wonderful canines. Guns and books are my main channel for outgoing funds.

I live in an RV in the industrial section of town with my pet python, Hercules.
I eat nothing but Cheetos and I am fond of leather and men with large ankles.
I spend about 20 hours a day on the internet, but I have recently started spending more time on the phone, watching Reality television, and lancing some of the larger boils on my backside.
I got into firearms because I always wanted to go snipe hunting with my friends, but could never do so since I didn't own a rifle.

Today's my birthday!! I'm 62. A whitehaired grandpa of seven.(Keeps me young) Ex-Navy during early Vietnam. (graduated from Boot Camp the day Kennedy was assassinated) Semi-retired, married to the same girl for 40 years and loved every bit of it. (She shoots, too) She has a Colt Agent .38, and a Kel-Tec P32, and knows how to run both. We share a Winchester '94 30-30; a 16 and a 20 Ga. (both cherry old Ithaca Mod. 37 Featherlights); and a Remington Nylon 66 .22 that I've had since the 70's. My guns include an early Wilson-built Colt Commander, A Kimber Custom Classic Royal, and a new S&W 1911Sc, that I'm just "wringing out" for carry. I currently carry a Glock 19, (3) Hi-cap Mags, and a Kel-Tec P32 stoked with RBCD. (Doesn't everybody carry two?????) I've bought and sold more guns than I can remember, but haven't we all? I currently reload 9mm and .45, but I'm equipped for (4) other handgun cals as well. Been reloading for about 10 years and I don't mean to brag, but my reloads are SWEET. Very accurate. O.K., I guess I do mean to brag a little. Don't take me too seriously. LOL

I've been trying to figure that out forever.

One cat that could care less, as long as no one is in her seat, you know, the one in the sun). I work in the printing industry, and for some reason, love the hours and stress.
Few guns, but not NEARLY as many as I want/ should have. Wife won't shoot, but pushes me to go as much as possible, because I love it.

Male, turning 40 this year, married 2.5 years, with a 3 month old daughter... all of which is fairly surprising to me and astonishing to my friends.
Am a very robust and active 72 yrs old male. By the time you read this I will no doubt be much older!

I am tri lingual, and so do translation work.
I am single and have a live in companion (lady) of whom I am incredibly fond. She says she loves me but has not signed her car over to me yet.
As far as guns are concerned, I have always been interested, and now I think I have acquired about as an ideal a collection as one could wish for.
As for politics I am a FDR liberal, a unionist, and a committed patriot. Also a gun lovin fist fist fightin white man.

I'm 23. Single, no close family, no kids. No plans for any serious relationships for a while, not going to until I settle down some.
Getting out of the Army, so maybe I'll finally have money to buy toys. I plan on working for a defense contractor doing geeky computer things. My current job is turning tax payer dollars into loud noise and piles of brass.
I enjoy doing outdoors things (hiking, kayaking). When I can, I plant gardens. I have made zen rock gardens in hostile fire zones. I speak three languages, all badly. I am a pagan, due to life experiences.
My life goal is to save up enough money to buy some land in the middle of nowhere, and build my own house.

I am 61, Married, 2 grown children and 7 lovely Grandchildren, Retired US Navy. I have a few guns . I buy one as soon as I save the Money for it. Need to add a couple of things: Also a Retired State Employee, Corrections. Don't have a lot of discretionary Income, but have managed to put aside enough money to purchase a couple of nice firearms this Year, Lattest Buy, a Ruger speed 6 inW/2 1?2 " barrel and a Ruger 10-22.

Not new to guns really but proud new owner of .38 spl and have my CWP. I drive a truck for a living so the funds are limited. Mono-parent, 3 kids. Don't like credit cards or being in debt. Payments are for mortgage and monthly bills. Do my best to visit THR often. Work extended hours- 10-12 daily. Hope to have a decent gun collection someday. Hope to be self-employed soon too (don't own the Mack) Loved reading this thread, gotta admit, read pg 1-5 then had to skip to 17! (been sittin' in this chair too long) I'll get back to it. When my website gets rollin' I'd love to get input from THR members. Only been a member since 12-2004 but I can tell most of ya'll know what you're talkin' about, and I feel quite at home here!

6 month update:
Still 23, still a chemist. In the last six months I haven't done any different shooting, just the same ole same ole. I take new people to the range. Last month I bought a showroom condition 2003 Suzuki SV650S that has been my new object of affection. A few weeks ago I went dirtbiking in the desert of nevada, that was very fun.

2 year update:
16, with a drivers license still warm from the press. No car yet (driving the family minivan- Hefer). I now own 8 various shotguns and rifles, and 1 handgun, with another two on the way.
No job- after being turned down by McDonalds, I kind of lost all hope . Enjoying summer, working on my Eagle Scout project, scouting out colleges. Possible trip to Houston this summer to visit Rice University, and a definite trip to NYC, Boston, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and the 2005 National Jamboree.

Since most of the money goes to daughter's education, I can buy a medium priced weapon ($500), maybe a year and a half to about every two years.
Last few years I have been buying pocket guns for wife and daughter.
Looking at an S.A. Defender in .45 GAP for my new toy.
