No doubt President Obama so far has been one of the if not greatest gun seller of all time. With his anti-gun agenda when he became president American citizens bought up plenty of guns in fear of his executive actions and anti-gun push.
Many people thought that when Trump got elected gun sales would plummet since Trump ran on a Pro-2nd Amendment platform and that since a President Trump would not be pushing anti-gun policies that gun sales would come to an abrupt halt.
Well, that's not the case as many liberals and many who are first time gun owners specifically are buying guns for the first time in fear of a US ran by President Trump. They believe that all of the so called deplorables, the racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, and Islamophobic that supposedly put Trump in the Whitehouse will come after them.
I actually think this is a good thing. This is making many anti-gun people become gun people even if against their will. Most of these people will most likely take gun safety classes and learn about their rights. It's hard being anti-gun if you own a gun or guns.
Singlehandedly Trump has created many new gun owners and specifically many new gun owners who were most likely anti-gun people until recently. That's huge. I think it will have a large impact on a lot of people. So much for the "Super Owner" which was current gun owners who merely added to their large collections, thus the anti's saying that most guns are owned by just a minute segment of the population.
So, will President Trump be the greatest gun seller of all time and have the most impact as president putting guns in the hands of more Americans than anyone else?

BBC: Even Liberals Are Buying Guns Under Trump
by AWR HAWKINS21 Dec 2016
On December 20, the BBC pointed out that the “traditional” image of the American gun buyer is shifting under Donald Trump; even liberals are making gun purchases.
In fact, the “Liberal Gun Club,” which is “an actual club” with nine chapter and members in all 50 states,” says it saw a “huge” increase in interest once Trump was elected, as well as a subsequent surge in membership.
But the BBC suggests that “left-wingers” are not buying guns for the same reasons that people on the “right wing” side of the political spectrum might. In fact, BBC suggests “left-wingers” are buying guns to protect themselves from right-wingers and to prepare for “the collapse of society.”
But Clara asserts, “Trump’s election has mobilized a lot of the far right and given them hope,” and this means it is time to buy a gun. “Things are already escalating and they will continue to do so and me not engaging or being prepared to defend my friends by force … isn’t going to stop people from being attacked or harassed.”
