There are probably still some effective things they can do. Nothing “prevents” H2H, the criminal gets a vote and doesn’t care about limitations.

. Also just because you are getting your but whipped or your face beaten by a mad person, that in itself does not warrant a lethal response from you because you happen to have a gun. Just some things to consider would be some formal training in hand to hand combat and some professional CQB training. Heck I spend 21 years in the Army and I still take CQB training every 3 years. But that is just me.

My response was aimed at this statement. If you have physical handicaps, someone getting their face beaten in is most definitely cause for a lethal response. What do you propose? That we just go with it and pray that he stops before I am dead?

Circumstances are always under consideration by both investigators and prosecutors, and the jury.

It is silly to think that if you're a 200 lb guy in fine health, the responses to attack that will be considered reasonable are exactly the same as they'd be if you were an 87 year old woman confined to a wheelchair.
