Capacity. How much does it matter to you?

How much capacity are you comfortable with for a CCW pistol?

mcb, basically you are saying; everyone should be trained, practice often, avoid bad areas, and have good situational awareness. Because of this, we should carry a 5 shot revolver.

There is no way to be prepared (like above) and carry a Glock 17 or a Sig 320 with 18 rounds.

If you have 18 rounds on board, you are unprepared. If you have 5 rounds you are prepared. That’s what I keep reading.

When did I say that? My one comment about the J-frames was to illustrate that IMHO training is way more important than capacity.

If it will appease the tactical Timmys of the thread, Yes training and hi-cap is better than training and low-cap. I had assumed that was obvious.

I'm the guy that posted the you can never have too much ammo MEM on the first page of this thread.

Not that I can think of unless your Jerry Miculek with the J-frame but Gomer Pyle with the Glock.

You didn't watch a lot of Gomer Pyle did you? He was usually portrayed as a country boy who could get along just fine in the woods and was a damn good shot
