I carried a Randall 1-8 pretty standard carbon steel Bo made me after I visited him from Benning Jump school and ordered it and went to Intelligence schools for 6months I picked it up on my way to DLIWC for Vietnamese before my first deployment in 68 . It worked well , was quite the status symbol but I ended up trading it after my second deployment and the leather ringed handles was getting a little funky . I Bought a Randall Model 14 Attack in 1972 from Nordic Knives and carried it in Army reserves until 1986 and it went to Panama twice with me and my Son got it in 1994 when he became a deputy . He still has it and in 1983 I replaced the Randall 1-8 just as I had originally and I still have it in my small Randall collection .
I also collected Mad Dog knives from 1999- well this last one I commissioned in 2020 and picked up in 2021 . Most of my medium sized Mad Dog collection were fighters, I ranked them the best in the world that you could get and used most of them , gave one to a IDF operator who reported it was miraculous in the anti tunnel work he did
. Kevin's Voodoo Hound; a 7.5"x 11/2"x special order 3/16" was my death fairy wand - very scary !
I sold quite a few MDs off and made good money with some , never lost any $ thats for sure. I kept half a dozen and my sons all have theirs. This is a one of "Ranasaurus" 10" x2" x1/4" VooDoo grind razor in rare Red and Black Composite. I picked it up in Utah in March on my birthday run in 2021 so thank goodness it didn't go to DC in Jan 6 2021

This big 13" Dagger I commissioned from Stephan Fowler and he did his Journeyman Bladesmith ticket making it. 13" forged W6 steel flat double grind blade with asymetric Stabilized Amboyna Burl handle and damascus fittings has a nice sheath too. Scary sharp and it is too pretty to use. I have half a dozen custom Fowler blades
THE "Trump 2020 knife commissioned Jan 2020 and picked up and payed $3200 for in March 2021
