I don't think any grown man concerned about the 2nd Amendment should have to be talked into joining, or rejoining, the NRA.
IF you don't think the NRA IS the "500 lb gorilla" in the U.S. when it pertains to political power in favor OF the 2nd Amendment just "google" NRA political power and see what you find.
I don't care for the constant bombarding of my mail box with solicitations, nor the constant request for early renewal, but for the price of admission I suggest any person concerned about the 2nd Amendment in the United States should be a member.
The next time an election rolls around listen and watch how much power and influence the NRA support, or lack of support for any individual up for election, or re-election might have..
Most of us spend more money in one family meal at a restaurant than we pay for yearly dues to the NRA and once we leave the building all we have to show for it is indigestion or an increased waistline.
I support the NRA, and have for decades, because while the NRA isn't perfect, it is the largest, most powerful organization in support of our 2nd Amendment rights in the United States.
Just personal opinion, no offense.
Best Wishes,
Jesse
