Hey all,

Anybody else excited about pistol caliber carbines? Manny pistol caliber carbines actually come in pistol format so that's why I'm posting here.

There are so many good pistol caliber carbines out there and many come in pistol format. Consider:
Uzi's, Ar15, Ar9mms, Ak9mm, Cz Scorpions, Mp5 Clones such as the PTR 9CT, Century Ap5, HK Sp5, the list goes on and on.

I always wanted a pcc so my initial pcc came when I purchased a Palmetto State Ar-v 9mm which takes Scorpion mags

Great gun to shoot but it has a little recoil cuz it has a heavy bolt. Really fun to shooting the steel plates at the range.

For my next foray into the pcc I had to sell a couple of guns but I bought a PTR 9CT! Wow what a fun gun! I changed out the handgaurd and added a brace. I'm several hundred rounds down the pipe with no hiccups. Great shooter!!

So I wasn't done with the pcc thing so my next purchase put me a little in the red. I wanted one of the new HK Mp5 22lr pistols. (I have a pretty good stash of 22lr ammo) They are under $500 so I picked one up. But I wanted a brace for it so I had to geta railed end cap and a 1911 brace. I wanted a red dot for it so with the addition of another Holosun 403b and rail fro MI to mount it. Here it is:

Done for now. What about you. Pcc's are great fun!! let us know what you have!

I have one PCC but the only thing holding back is cheap 9mm ammo or cheaper primers. PCC eats lots of ammo and I need to make every primer count.

My CZ Evo is so cool to look at, need to go shoot it one day

For the most part I don’t see the point compared to a .300 BLK carbine, other than cost of 9mm but I like shooting pistols more.

That said I do like the look of that PSA, quite a bit. Also the AK ish one they have at PSA, looks cool too.

Just too many other things on my list for the price… for now anyway

The Palmetto AR-V 9mm really runs great but it just has a little recoil. The lever mag release is pretty cool too. In the future I may invest in a hydraulic buffer for it to tame it a little. Also PTRs Mp5 clone wow shoots buttery smooth like a 22lr really.

I get interested and then I stop myself, then I get interested and can't find anything in stock I want/like, Then the cycle repeats itself. :)
One of these days it'll all line up. Been looking for Ruger locally, the chassis model. They've been MIA for so long I hardly even look anymore.

I have 4 in semi-auto. They just sit in the gun safe. I should have sold them when the mayhem started. If you count my 44 mag CVA hunter and my newest Lever action in 45 colt. Those excite me more.

My Marlin 9MM Camp Carbine goes nicely with my S&W M659, my Marlin 45ACP Camp Carbine goes nicely with one of my M1911s.

Preaching to the choir here. The only actual rifle caliber in the house is 5.56. The CZ Scorpion is great; works all the time, magazines are available and relatively cheap, have a red dot on mine, plus an OEM shoulder stock (it's Class III). It's straight blowback, but never found it to be a shoulder or cheek pounder.
Now if you want a really neat PCC, get the original Scorp in 7.65, with the wire stock.

the had the originalScorpion re-release in .32 and .380. Looked Super Cool. I should have bought the .32 version

Palmetto State AR-9 8” with Glock mags. I have run a few thousand rounds through it so far and it runs like a top. I reload and have plenty of food for this thing, and feed it regularly. It’s just too much fun not to. 24” head to tail and makes a great car gun too. 1EB8FB97-6B2F-40BF-B530-3AC8C40A2E0C.jpeg 3EFC3C7D-67AF-40AC-AFE3-CDE76D9216E7.jpeg

I did add a cheap ~15.00 eBay linear comp on it and it did cut down on the noise a little.

When 9mm costs just as much as .223 or 7.62x39mm, no, they do not excite me.

Back when 9mm was $0.13 per round it was a different story. They still are good weapons but yeah, with how screwed up the market is, just no “bang for your buck” value with the PCCs and I’d rather have rifle power if I’m paying rifle ammo prices.
